Ken's place was wonderful with a stunning view and very well furnished. Our host was helpful with a last-minute booking and the place was also easy to find. We didn't spend much time in the house as we had full-day engagements but it was a wonderful place to unwind especially with the view of the ocean from the balcony... very peaceful.

Nasibu is a great person. Always available for any need you might have during your stay. There are no problems with him, only solutions. Always reachable and available with his unwavering good humor and smile. I felt at home during my entire stay. In addition, I have undoubtedly gained a friend in Watamu forever.

My bad, the stay was for my daughter and me. We're pretty flexible and have car camped around the US and EU a lot, yet somehow we thought this specific rental would work for us. It's more for a romantic couple, and I LOVE the open floor design, open shower, studio feel. However Benjamin and the staff went over and above to make everything work. There was a big wedding in the area and we met people up and down the beach who were going. We gave them fish we'd caught when the restaurant ran out and everyone ate well. We didn't realize all the things they have, scuba, kite surfing, it's a very cool property, recommended.

Wonderful place to stay

Our family's stay at Woburn Residence in December 2018 was amazing! We loved the house and the outdoor garden and pool. Despite being in a shared compound, the house offers adequate privacy without feeling isolated. Prior to our stay, James was available to answer all our questions and offer helpful suggestions and contacts such as a local chef and taxi drivers. During our stay, we had a couple of minor issues that he helped sort out in no time. Susan the housekeeper was friendly and very helpful during our stay. It was a convenient location to explore Malindi, Gedi and Watamu. We would be happy to return to Woburn and highly recommend James's place!
