At first, I was pretty hesitant of booking a room here. I wasn’t sure what was I getting my self into if I was just renting a room in a shared house (owners had their own bedroom). It was first time airbnbing in a shared house. However, when I got there it felt warm and cozy for my girlfriend and I for anniversary. When we arrived Pat gave us a brief history of the area and some local restauant recommendations. The amenities were great and easy to use. I wish we had booked a longer stay so we could use the outdoor rentals. Overall, it was great and would comeback again in the summer or fall! For future planners: Stillwater does this awesome called Harvest Fest check it out!

We loved staying at Debbie's place! Pat was very welcoming and helpful in getting us set up. They even leant us a pack-n-play for my 1-year-old daughter. I wish we had more time to enjoy the area because it was so beautiful. It was a very nice stay overall.

We had a wonderful stay here on the quiet shores of the Mississippi with beautiful backyard views of an undeveloped island. Yes, there still was a musty odor, fingerprints on the windows, lots of boxelders, gentleman's club down the street, dangerous looking plug on space heater, issues with top oven, issues with all 3 coffee makers, lack of blinds, wifi difficulties, funky stairs, cold bedrooms, and other annoyances one would not expect at this price. But everything was easily manageable and did not stop us from a great long weekend with the whole family. Having no video games and minimal number of TVs was exactly what we needed to keep everyone engaged with each other in the activities room and main living area. The ping pong table moves nicely to the main basement room so that everyone could sit on the couches and watch. The hosts went out of their way to provide us an extra table and chairs so we all could all sit down for meals together.

A nice getaway if you have planned activities around the area. Very peaceful and beautiful in the winter.

One of the best stays I have had. So cozy and relaxing. I travel a lot for work and this is by far the best airbnb experience I’ve had traveling over 9 years for work.

We really enjoyed this space. We were in a room in the basement with a really comfortable bed. They let us use the propane grill right next to the lake. We enjoyed a beautiful dinner overlooking the lake and the fall colors. They are super nice and welcomed us into their home. They turned the fridge on for us to use and gave us some great recommendations. Perfect for a one night stay.

Loved staying here! Perfect location for skiing in the winter and I’m sure it would be lovely, as it is right on the water, in the summer as well! Our hosts were very responsive and attentive, even checking in to make sure we arrived safely after a snow storm, plowing the driveway multiple times, and delivering more towels when we needed! Definitely would stay here again!

I was very impressed with the place by the lake very nice Sadie is a great person and had the opportunity to meet her at the venue that my son was having his wedding reception. We are already planning our next visit. Also the Hot Tub was ready to go when we got there Thanks John

We had a great stay! The house is well stocked in all aspects and all 13 of us were very comfortable. The game room was a huge hit for kids ranging from 5-17, the outdoor dinning table and fire pit were used often, the level frontage was helpful for the older folks. A few minor drawbacks: several beds were not made when we arrived, the bedrooms are lacking bedside lamps, and it seemed that not all of the outdoor lights were working. Overall a wonderful trip!

The River Cabin is a clean, tastefully decorated, cozy cabin in beautiful surroundings. Emily's check in instructions were clear and easy, and she was super responsive about a question I had, solving the issue quickly. I especially enjoyed all the windows, river view, walking trails, and the fireplace. I would definitely stay again!

AMAZING cabin. We had a family get away for a couple nights and didn’t want to leave! Great running trails, fishing, comfortable and beautiful home. The fall colors were breathtaking. Tricia was a great host! We really hope that we can come back soon!

We all had a wonderful, relaxing time! Would love to come back in the summer & experience that season!

The Cozy Cabin was the perfect oasis to have down time from a full weekend of activities visiting family and friends from out of town. We loved sitting by the bonfire each night! Definitely would recommend and hope to visit again!
