Great place to get away. It was private and had a very cottage feel but with all the amenities!. We came here in winter and the hot tub was awsome! I would love to come back in summer, so much to see ans the property is huge with lots of things to do and hang out.

Stayed here in April and didn't expect much being April but the weather was nicer than expected and the place beat our expectations! The place was so tidy, clean and just FULL of supplies and amenities - way more than any place we have ever been. Well stocked and thought out kitchen, loved the idea of having laundry inside and the hot tub was awesome for the time of year! Dog friendly was such a bonus for us to bring our 2 Labs as many places have such stipulations on size of pets welcomed and despite snow still being on the ground in some places, they enjoyed the swimming. The canoe, paddleboards and paddle boat were great to have available and we made use of the canoe. The deck offered great views and was perfect to have the gate to close the area to enjoy with our dogs and not worry about them running off the pester the neighbourhood chickens. Overall, great stay

Christine & Rebecca were very kind and always provided quick and useful answers to all our questions. 5 stars landlord The house is super big, organized and has so many amenities to entertain yourself, no matter how is the weather outside. Would definitely consider to return in a near future for a gateway with my friends.

This was our second time staying at Jamie’s cottage and it was just as wonderful as the first time. It is such a beautiful location and the cottage is warm and cozy with the amazing fireplace. It was a perfect spot to watch all the snow fall gently out the big windows, looking out over the river. So peaceful! We ended up having to leave early and it made us all so sad, especially our kids, so we’ve already mentally made plans to go back next winter. Jamie was super communicative and we really just enjoyed our time so much.

Our visit was for my 65th birthday and included 8 adults and 2 dogs. The home was clean and spacious with stunning views of the lake. The kitchen was perfect for our group and the large living room with a massive couch easily accommodated everyone. The hot-tub was very clean and we all loved the fire pit on those chilly evenings. Alex was easy to communicate with and we would definitely book this location again. We also loved that it was just under 2 hours from home.

We had a wonderful stay at this amazing cottag. very clean and spotless. The place was well-equipped with lots of entertainment options and fun activities for everyone. One of the highlights for us was definitely the hot tub — it was such a relaxing experience, especially in the peaceful and beautiful environment. We’re already planning to come back, and next time we’ll definitely stay for more than two days to fully enjoy everything the cottage has to offer. We stayed one week at Kris’s cottage and it was just lovely. The cottage had everything we needed. The view was so peaceful and the sauna and hot tub were both what everyone needed. The beds were so comfortable as well. Would definitely recommend and would definitely like to return. Thank you Kris.

My friends and I stayed here for a winter weekend away and it was just what we needed/wanted in a little cottage. Great location for those coming from the GTA and nice and close for those in Simcoe. Once we got there we felt right at home! The hosts had cleared the walking paths and back deck of any recent snow fall which made it nice and easy to get inside and enjoy the grounds. They went above and beyond by having the wood burning stove going for us when we checked in which made CARL that much more cozy and welcoming. Communication and instructions were very clear and detailed from start to finish which made the whole rental process easy and enjoyable. My friends and I look forward to coming back to CARL in the future!

My group and I had an excellent stay at the cottage. The lake is beautiful and the property is as well; inside and out. The location is quiet, yet not too secluded, making the overall experience very peaceful. The home was also very clean, functional, and had even more amenities than we were even expecting! Our family had an enjoyable Thanksgiving weekend at Carol's property. The cabin was cozy and charming, the bunkie was super cute and the deck and fire pit were amazing spots to hang out at. It's a short walk to the water and a convenience store/lcbo. Our only issue was that we didn't stay long enough!

We absolutely loved the cottage it was perfect for our week at the beach. The beach itself was just steps away and was absolutely beautiful with calm,clear water and friendly neighbours. There is a strong sense of community in the area. We really loved the outdoor shower which was a family favourite. We will defiantly come back to this cottage again and again if we can.

We had an amazing Christmas stay at Amanda’s beautiful cottage! The snow made the experience even more magical, though we can imagine it being just as stunning in the summer. The heated jacuzzi overlooking the serene view was a highlight for us—it was the perfect spot to relax and unwind. We rented this beautiful cottage and bunkies for a work trip for our guys to unwind and relax together. This cottage is right on the water, the steps off the deck go right into the sandy beach. The view from the deck and cottage is stunning. We had an absolutely great time, We used the kayaks and canoe and a few guys really enjoyed the slide. The lake is beautiful and calm enough to paddle around. Lots of sleeping space for everyone. The driveway fit 6 trucks easily. I would highly recommend this place and we will be keeping this place on top of the list for next year for this annual event. Thank you Carla

We really loved our stay here. We have a 6 and 2 year old and this cottage was the perfect size for the 4 of us. I like that it’s all one level, and floors are a clean hardwood. The road in front of the cottage is so quiet and feels private. A great place to kick the ball around and jump in puddles. Hot tub and games room made this place extra special. Would love to come visit in the summer, and enjoy the beach type amenities that are just a short walk away.

10/5 stars. no way I could say enough about Ediz's place. Everything was explained in good detail. The place was spotless. The hot tub was perfect. Someone came around to clear the snow. The kitchen was well stocked and even had the amenities you need to cook a proper meal. No detail was overlooked. And our comfort was a priority. Our time there was peaceful and comfortable. Thank you so much Ediz. We hope to return!!

What a clean, cozy cottage - you feel a bit as though in a tree house with the tree tops filling the beautiful big windows. The fireplace was great during the rain and the canoe and fire pit fun when it stopped!

Great experience. Jeff was proactive and made sure we are all comfortable during the bad weather. The location is perfect and lots to do around. Absolutely loved the stay and a great get away. Looking forward to visit during the summer.

The surrounding area was just as lovely—quiet, scenic, and full of charming spots to explore. Whether I was taking a walk around the cottage or venturing out to nearby attractions, there was always something new to enjoy. A most delightful stay! We rented Wendy and Jeff’s place for a week. The place looked exactly like the photos--beautifully decorated, modern yet cozy and impeccably clean. The cottage is located at the end of a peninsula, with spectacular views in every direction. It was private and peaceful. Thoughtful little details throughout the cottage make this place stand out. We especially love the helpful notecards with instructions on how to operate the coffee machine and other amenities. The kitchen and bathrooms were also well-stocked. All these things add up to a very comfortable and wonderful experience. We highly recommend !

We had a wonderful stay at Cassidy and Stephen’s cottage! The place is beautifully decorated, very well equipped, and ideally located. It had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Perfect for families, with plenty of toys and books for the kids to enjoy. The communication with Cassidy and Stephen was very smooth throughout our stay. Great place for staycation! Had the most memorable stay. Cottage is fully equipped for large groups. Lots of activities to do inside and outside.

We enjoyed everything about our stay! The location is beautiful with so many options to explore - canoe, kayaks and paddleboards, and also relax - indoor sitting area with a great view, back deck, dock and fire pit. The cottage is incredibly clean and comfortable with everything you need (and then some) provided. Highly recommend booking this cottage!
