It would have been nice to have a second TV and a mirror in the second bedroom, but the place is adorable and very clean. The host was very friendly and helpful!!! We built a fire every night. Loved it.

Rachel was an amazing host. She was very attentive and helpful and was always available to meet our needs. She even went the extra mile and put a basketball banner inside the house because we were visiting for a local basketball tournament.

Lucy was very communicative abouts the house and activities and attractions nearby. She was very responsive. The house worked very well for our family of 5 with the three baths and two full showers. Nice deck off the back of the house with a couch, table and umbrella and gas grill. We really enjoyed the nice fire pit and big yard and my kids loved the cows right across the street!

Beautiful deck on the river. Linens were of high quality. Everything was just as described. Highly recommend.

Great up to date place was very clean and spacious. Beds were very comfortable and each room has own thermostat recommend!!

My husband and I gathered with our adult daughters and mates for a post-holiday weekend. Doniphan was close to the epicenter of our three home bases. Scotty’s Sunny Spot and host DeYanna were great and we had a wonderful weekend. The house was nicely decorated and a perfect size for the six of us. We enjoyed the living room - and the kitchen was amazing. We also appreciated the several extras provided (a bowl of candy, coffee bar syrups, spices and baggies, etc.). The beds were comfortable and bathrooms beautiful. DeYanna was responsive to questions and quickly resolved a small issue.

This our go-to place to reserve when we visit family! We have stayed here multiple times and it's always fantastic, clean and cozy! Misty is always friendly, proactive and responsive. Thank you for another wonderful stay! See you later this year. :)

Shannon is a fantastic host. Ensured we had all we needed to have a great experience. Home is better than described. Perfect for small groups. Quiet area. Far but close at the same time. Laundry is a 2 minute drive. Beds are comfortable. Shower is perfect. Hope to visit again.

An amazing place. We had both Shepherd's Place and Black River and could not have asked for more. Plenty of space and private bath for each bedroom was just awesome! Watched the eclipse outside and the privacy was incredible. No crowds! Thank you to our incredible host!

This was my second stay at Matthew's place this winter and everything was just as great as the first time. You just can't beat a quiet area and a nice place to stay!

Had an initial issue with someone parked in front of the unit blasting music for half an hour but when I texted Johnny about it, he immediately got the car to turn the music off. Wish I had written sooner as he was very responsive! Unit is older but spotless, I would definitely stay here again if I was ever traveling through the area.

Andy was an excellent host. He was responsive and accommodating. The house was clean and well stocked (e.g. shampoo, conditioner, and body shower in the bathrooms; plenty of towels; dishes and cutlery available). If you are visiting Poplar Bluff, this is a great place to stay!

If you are looking for some where to just to relax and have peace and quite this is the place to go.
