We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful home! Lots of space and fully stocked kitchen and bathrooms. The basement is great with the ping pong table, and the kids loved the swing set! Would definitely stay again.

Plenty of room to eat and hang out for bigger families. Great basement with games and toys for kids-adults. Well stocked for cooking at home. Comfortable beds and multiple bathrooms very convenient for groups.

Nice place. Relaxing and comfortable. Loved looking at the lake from the window and sitting in the 4 season room for a great breeze. Looks like a great lake for canoeing. I think we will return during warmer weather to enjoy being on the lake canoeing or kayaking. Cottage had everything we could need and then some. Sara was very quick to respond. This Airbnb was a perfect stay for my friend group as we attended a local convention in Lake Geneva. You are about 10-15min away (depending on traffic) from downtown. As you approach the Airbnb you have a large driveway with a easy access into the house. The host changes the decor to the seasons which adds a great home touch! The beds were all very comfortable, water was nice and hot, and kitchen stocked with all needed cooking ware. The added bonus is the hosts provide toiletries that the usual traveller forgets! No last minute store runs to get the normal standards! We were also provided a snack basket which we all enjoyed over some boardgames in the closet. Overall I reccomend this place for all visitors! We will HIGHLEY consider this location for our annual convention.

Great house for a winter getaway with friends - place was cozy, comfortable with a breezy vibe. We loved spending time in the living area, the sofa and arm chairs are very comfy. Kitchen was well furnished, bedrooms comfortable. We had a bone fire - place is well set up for that as well. We would visit again (in any season).

My family and I had such a fun time here for a week visiting family for Easter break. We’re from the city and we loved mchenry and how it was close to so many shops for breakfast, dinner. Ice cream, laundry etc. We were also very close to family and church. Lovely neighborhood with a park across the street. Plenty of room in the apt for my kiddos to run around. I particularly loved that the floors and doors weren’t squeaky and made noise. This is our bi-yearly place from now on.

Susan was awesome, very friendly and willing to work with you on checkin time also if I needed something. This has been my best experience yet with a BNB, will book again next time I am I. the area. Also easy access to the Toll so to get back to Chicago

We stayed at Sarah’s place for 6 months. Sarah is a very friendly and helpful host, she was always here whenever we had any questions or concerns. Her place really felt like home away from home. You will find everything you will need for your everyday. And more. Highly recommended. Thanks Sarah for having us and for being a great host!

Very nice place to stay. Has a lot of fun games. the hot tub was good. Kitchenette has a hot plate, electric skillet, toaster oven and blender so you can cook simple foods

The apartment was clean, comfortable and cozy, just as described and pictured in the listing. Location in downtown Waterford was great and we were able to walk to the river park and downtown restaurants, shops and bars. Although it is located on Main Street, there is little traffic at night and we had no trouble sleeping. We would definitely stay again when visiting the area.

Staying with Bente and her husband is so relaxing. We fully enjoyed being outside, surrounded by animals on a peaceful farm. The children spend most of their time in the hay stable: swinging, chatting and petting the cats. The blossoming orchard was very pretty for a small walk. The children already asked when we can go back for another weekend.

The place was beautiful the architecture was amazing. The place was cozy felt right at home. The indoor fireplace was great and the big screen tv was a plus. Highly recommend. The owner was very nice even let us have a late check out with no extra cost.

My wife liked the place a lot and the decorations and the taste of the furniture and the wall arts. Kitchen had everything we needed, the place is clean and well maintained. We liked how peaceful it is and having enough wood to lit was a plus.

Steve’s cottage was perfect for our overnight getaway! We were able to grill, enjoy a fire and just soak in the serenity of the beautiful lake! Met our needs perfectly and would highly recommend!

We had a lovely stay here. It was so relaxing to stay in and look over the lake at night. Lots of good restaurants nearby to eat in or takeout and enjoy a quiet, relaxing night. A perfect get away to celebrate any occasion of get some refreshing air.
