The posting is exactly as described and you can tell that Clare takes great pride and attention for her guests in the way that everything, down to the detail, is taken care of and how she treats her guests. During our stay we didn't need anything, however Clare and her husband were of great help and care during severe weather allowing us to come into their own home for safety. Both she and her husband are good people. I would definitely recommend her place to those looking for a quiet and relaxing escape. Thank you Clare and Andy!

Cottage was in good location and very clean. Communication with Mark was easy and he was quick to respond. I would stay here again the next time I’m in the area.

Great location, super cute neighborhood. 5 minutes for less from wonders of wildlife. 2 bd, 2 bath on the main floor. The finished basement has another 2 bed, 1 bath. I could see teenagers loving the basement. Check in and check out was super easy. Communication was quick and easy!

Made same day reservations, Sarah was very responsive. Great stop for our one night stay. Fireplace was 🔥, jacuzzi was 🫧. Bed was very comfy. Place was clean and cozy. Only heard one train pass around 11pm. Highly recommend!

Ben was a great host. We had a small issue with the door code not working but one quick call and he fixed it. Easy fix and easy mistake. We felt like this was a perfect place for our group to use for the Stronger Men’s conference this year. This was a local place that was close to everything that we needed while we were visiting. Would reserve again in the future if we come down next time.

Place was great! Krill and Angela were the best! Very responsive! Def recommend any one looking for an amazing cozy clean place!

Our stay here was exactly what we were looking for- peaceful, quiet, comfortable, clean & calm. Easy to locate, close to a lot of delicious food places and attractions. Great communication that was clear & positive!! The location provided quiet from everyday hustle & bustle with beautiful views off the deck. The calm of the James River was just a short walk (steps really) from the house and was just as quiet & peaceful as everything else. We will certainly keep this property on our list for when we return to the area!

As with our last stay - the accommodations were exceptional, and the service from the Hosts was outstanding...this will be the only place we'll ever consider staying while visiting our family in the area!!
