We had a great time and Gladys is a fantastic host who is quick to respond! The space was very neat and tidy up on arrival. So many wineries within a 15 minute drive of this space.

we have been coming to Applewood west since Wallowa lake vacation rentals had it, so around 10 years or so and it's our favorite, we usually go at least once a year, it's even better since the hot tub. we left a hard plastic squirrel outside last summer and it's still their. we just love this place and will be back.

Had a wonderful stay and look forward to this spring and again next fall. Great location. Thanks for a great stay.

Really nice place to stay!

Right on the lake. You couldn't ask for a better view. It was perfect for my dog to roam and great place to come back to enjoy after Hiking the different beautiful Walama Trails!

Havilah's place is very centrally located. It was easy to get around on foot. It was also convenient to Joseph, Wallowa Lake, and lots of hiking. The place was comfortable and cozy, great for a couple or small family.

We had a great stay and felt right at home. Our kids also loved it. They didn’t want to leave “the green house” :)

everything was exactly as advertised and very clean. we will stay at this place again in the future.

From the pictures this house seems a bit dark, but it's bright, immaculately clean, and well equipped for your needs. This is a great spot to stay for outdoor activities! Wonderful location for us to have our own space while being close to family for the holidays. Was so nice to have the gas fireplace adding to the coziness. Quick note: if you're staying here in the winter, you need to plan for the weather (i.e. 4-wheel drive, chains, etc ). Highly recommend!

The cabin was perfect for the two of us and our pup. Being on the river was so peaceful. We watched deer every day and night and even saw a red fox run by. we were steps from the state campground which allowed easy access to the lake. Being there in off season was ideal! No crowds. The bedrooms were smaller but manageable. Loved the open floor concept in the kitchen and sitting area. Would stay again!

Enjoyed our stay. Beautiful view of the lake. Deck was nice and relaxing. The place felt like home. Loved the shower! Great stay.

The cabin sits near a stream, deer come into the yard, it is quiet and peaceful. Although it is near an RV park, it is a nice, secluded spot. We enjoyed our stay and had plenty of room! The location is a short distance from the town and across the street from the tramway. Beautiful area and a great time in Joseph, OR!

We come up to Wallowa Lake once or twice a year, and enjoyed our stay once again.

My husband and I absolutely loved it here! The view is just breathtaking! The sauna was a great add on and we really loved going there every night. All the essentials are provided like towels, shampoo, cups, and so on. The main road to get here though is not the best during the winter so we highly recommend being prepared for that. The host was very responsive and we really appreciated that. We are definitely planning on coming back here again! 😊

Clean, well furnished and very quiet. Proximity to highway poses little to no noise. Great yard for catch or yard darts. Little stream an added bonus.

Absolutely stunning! Riley was a wonderful host and the area is truly gorgeous. We can’t wait to go back!
