Fernwood Forest

This is a true log cabin in the woods adjoining 9,000 acres of Chattahoochee National Forest. The home is on a small creek in a valley by Taylor's Ridge with private trails to the top of the mountain. There is a large stone fireplace in the den. Though it is a rustic setting we have great WIFI and streaming 4K HDR TV. We have space and facilities for dog and horse owners. Cloudland Canyon, Jarrod's Place Bike Park, Dalton, GA, and Chattanooga, TN are nearby and great day time destinations.

Try your skill at the scavenger hunt, relax by a fire outside (giant-sized cauldron), watch the birds enjoy the pond from outside of this magical stone space just down the hill from The Burrow, and near Fairytale Cottage. We have several books and board games to enjoy your time together and the 50” flatscreen is there, just in case reading and games arent your thing. If you need a quiet place to just get away for a while, or a clean place to lay your head, we’re here to help!

Quiet apartment on a beautiful farm in Chickamauga, Georgia just 35 minutes from Chattanooga attractions and activities. Apartment is attached to a lovely home but closed off and has a separate porch entry overlooking the front yard pond. Home is located on a peaceful 32 acre property that is also home to donkey, chickens, and two barn cats. Nearby activities include the Chickamauga Battlefield, Cloudland Canyon State Park, downtown Chickamauga, hiking, biking and climbing.

The antique oak door with original doorbell, was taken from an 1890’s farmhouse out of Macon, GA.
