Great location! We were able to boat to both Trident and Duncan Bridge Marinas. The views were gorgeous. Very quiet and peaceful. The house was clean and perfect for 6 adults (3 couples). Of note there were only 2.5 baths not 3.5 as listed. The two queen rooms share a Jack n’ Jill bathroom.

Wonderfully peaceful stay

Cute little lake cottage with gorgeous views of Smith Lake. The beds were comfy, the kitchen was well stocked, and the bathrooms were nice. Overall a very pleasant experience and a delightful weekend away.

Jim was so flexible. At first I thought i was going to get there early on friday so I wrote him if I could check in early. He said I could be there at noon. We did not end up leaving texas until friday evening so we arrived around 10 am on saturday. The place looked so amazing I still wanted to stay an extra day anyway, I asked if I could add an extra day to my stay since we missed the friday (of course we meant to pay) and he said we definitely could and since we missed friday we could stay the extra day for free! I intended to pay but he said it was fine! Then he walked my kids and I through the main property. The deck, the boathouse, the lake! Wow!!!! It was so beautiful and peaceful! It was like a scene from a movie. Jim offered up sodas and waters and told us if we needed any we can get some at anytime. Walked us inside the main house and said we could get coffee and overall a great and kind host. While out he was messaging me on the AirBNB app to suggest places to visit! 🙌🏼

We enjoyed another great stay! This location is so relaxing and the fishing was better than anticipated. The water level was great this time of year.

Stephanie is an EXCELLENT host! The house is beautiful, but what was breathtaken was the out side deck(s) & the scenery. My family and I loved & enjoyed our stay! Well definitely return during the summer 🏝️ time! Thanks Stephanie 💕

We had a fantastic weekend on the lake! The floating dock and kayaks were great for relaxing, spending time by the water, and soaking up rays. The screened back porch was cozy and great after a day in the sun. We spent both evenings on the large loveseat swing, reading and vibing as the sun set. Everything was comfortable, clean, and as advertised. Also a neighbor's dog greeted us at check-in and just sort of hung around with us for the day. He was a very good boy :)

We thoroughly enjoyed our family's stay at Cottages # 1 and # 2. It was beautiful and peaceful. What a gorgeous setting! We were able to access the docks and rented a boat which we kept there overnight. As others have mentioned, there are 130 steps down to the dock from Cottage 1. Cottage 2's path to the other deck had less steps but you also have to walk on a rocky trail. Cottage 2's deck is covered. The only other issue at Cottage 1 was the steeper / gravel driveway, which has also been mentioned in a review. Cottage 2's driveway was level. It was okay for us because we had a truck with 4WD. We parked the sedan further up the hill. We didn't mind the walk to Cottage 1 or between the cottages, but an elderly person might. Otherwise, these 2 cottages were in a picture-perfect setting and we had great time there with our families, babies and dogs! Thank you!

This is our 2nd stay at this amazing home. The peace you will find here is unlike anything you"ll ever experience. It's so tranquil there, quiet and peaceful. You'll never need to leave for anything other than food, there's so much to do! There are many amenities here as well. Enjoy the theater, the games, pool table and ohhhh those decks! The outdoor spaces are someting out of a dream! The bed swing is definitely my favorite spot, although the master tub definitely competes with the swing as our favorite spaces. Don't miss the opportunity to stay here. You'll have a memorable stay! 🧡
