We were warmly welcomed with a bottle of wine and some goodies which was very welcome after a long drive. The short walk down to the coastal path was lovely with great views. The pod was nice and warm, clean and exactly what we needed for a relaxing break. Everywhere on the island is easily accessible from the location. Benllech is a couple of minutes down the road and has plenty of shops, take aways and restaurants if that’s what you want. We had a lovely stay. and would recommend.

Location was stunning, the host was lovely and it has beautiful walks on the doorstep. Hot tub definitely worth the extra money as elevates the stay to another level. The dog thoroughly enjoyed his stay as well!

Superb stay. Gorgeous location. Hosts were fantastic and the food was amazing. Recommend the pizza evening that was great fun. The breakfast was above expectation. The children enjoyed the craic and playing with the really friendly dogs. We will be back.

It’s a place for some isolation .I really was looking forward for some peace . Heather is very good and communicative . Would highly recommend

We visited the cabin with my children and we all loved it! Yvonne was very responsive with the location (use three what3words was a great idea!), and helped us settle really quickly after the long drive. A beautiful environment with a friendly host, we felt like home straight away. The beds are comfy and the kitchen was well equipped for cooking and we even found some DVDs to watch in the evening after visiting the beaches nearby!

Relaxing and peaceful

Beautiful place. Felt right at home and relaxed. Excellent facilities and David certainly went above and beyond to make us feel at home and make the most out of our trip.

We had an amazing New Year’s stay in Bryan’s cozy pod cabin. It exceeded all our expectations. The cabin was warm, inviting, and had everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. From the moment we arrived, we felt at home in this peaceful spot. The location is stunning, with breathtaking views of the mountains and sea. One highlight was sitting under the stars watching the Northern Lights by the fire, an unforgettable experience. Aberdaron village is nearby, with a café and shop, but far enough for complete tranquility. We explored nearby spots, including Traeth Porthor for a beach walk, Braich Anelog for scenic mountain views of the Irish Sea, and Mynydd Mawr, where we watched a perfect sunset over Bardsey Island. Bryan was a fantastic host, friendly, helpful, and quick to respond. The check-in was simple, and his communication made everything seamless. This trip was the perfect mix of relaxation and nature. We’re already planning to return in the summer. We highly recommend

Absolutely beautiful so peaceful and shepherds hut was gorgeous only thing I would say is a shelf in bathroom to put your bits would be ideal and maybe a hook in bathroom to hang clothes/towel But we loved it and will definitely go back and recommend Julie is so lovely and friendly honestly perfect The sun pub just up the road is lovely and very welcoming Highly recommend The Shaggy Sheep hut thank you

We had a fantastic time at this lovely lodge in Tenby. It was clean, cozy, and the hot tub was a perfect touch, so relaxing after exploring the area. Peaceful location but close enough to town within a short drive. Responsive host and got back to us whenever we had a question. Highly recommend for a relaxing getaway.

A unique stay in the shepherds hut with beautiful surroundings. Had all the facilities needed for a long weekend, and extra luxury with the hot tub.

Our first time staying, but definitely won’t be the last! Extremely peaceful and private location with beautiful surroundings. A really lovely place to spend a weekend away and we can’t wait to come back in the future. Thank you for such an amazing stay 🙏🏻☀️

A lovely quiet spot just right for the kids

We received a friendly welcome from Anna and Jim who were really helpful and a pleasure to meet. The accommodation was secluded and set in beautiful surroundings. We could hear songbirds and even owls whilst being so relaxed. The cabin was perfect and met all our needs, even our dog was safe as the garden is secure. We didn’t want to leave but I’m sure we’ll be back soon enough.

Great stay 👍☺️,, neatly arranged cabin and peaceful atmosphere and very beautiful location. Clodagh and Jon very friendly and helpful. Clear instructions to reach the place. Cabin was fully equipped with all the necessary items. Beautiful hot tub and barbecue grill all were good . Our children really liked tha cabin and hot tub and the natural environment around there. WiFi, tv , kitchen appliances, furnitures all there were very useful to us during the stay . Thank you Clodagh and Jon for the beautiful welcome gift. Ready want to come back there and spend few days when get a chance.

Amazing cosy place for our time away. Surrounding village is great and plenty to do. Very very clean and lovely attention to detail. Very easy to get the hut warm and the bed was super comfy. We had everything we needed and more. Will definitely be recommending to family and friends. Thank you very much from Ciera & Tom !

I stayed two nights at calm acre cabin with my dog. We have been to lots of similar places for short weekend breaks, but I must say calm acre is my favourite! We walked for hours and miles around the surrounding areas. There were great views and lots of hills, streams, bridges, wild horses and hundreds of sheep!🤣 We bumped into two dog walkers over the whole 2 days so you really are very secluded and remote. After a day of exploring the wilderness we would arrive back to the cabin, take my muddy boots off and your dog can go for a quick swim in the private river access (to wash off any mud.🤣) then it was time to have a cup of tea and light the fire pit and sit in the cosy outdoor area until dark. I had the best nights sleep I have had in a long time inside the cabin! The comfy mattress and hot water bottle was lovely.. everything is simple and easy. Chloe has thought of pretty much everything you may need and if not she is always nearby to help you out if you need anything. :)

An absolutely idyllic & beautiful place to unwind! Quirky but comfortable & a great place to relax. The family were lovely, welcoming & very thoughtful, including the dogs, cat & peacocks! A great location for exploring the island. It is off the beaten track but the instructions were really easy to follow & made it even more an adventure! We will be back!

We stayed for 3 nights and really enjoyed it. Sean greeted us on arrival and showed us around and gave us lots of great local information about walks and day trips etc. the location is peaceful and private and also not too far from shops etc. Sean checked in on us via the app to see if everything was okay and if we needed anything. We had visits from the little cat who was lovely 😻. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a quiet getaway!

The pods were recommended to us by a family member and we had a lovely stay, they are comfortable, clean and well equipped. The location is perfect for walking and visiting the local waterfalls. We had a nice meal in the Angel pub. Would definitely recommend.

We had the loveliest weekend getaway at The Prancing Moose - perfectly cosy, with beautiful surroundings and a real sense of tranquility. The cabin was well-heated and had everything we needed, including great facilities for cooking and a comfy bed. The views were absolutely stunning and I don’t think we could’ve found a better base from which to explore Mid Wales! Yoann was friendly, very responsive and provided clear instructions. The only thing I would mention is that the shower doesn’t run very hot, so it was more of an in-and-out situation, but this really wasn’t a big issue. Thank you so much for having us - we’ll be coming back! :)

The weekend was exactly what we needed. So beautiful and peaceful. You are blessed to have such a beautiful space. Thank you for sharing with us. The sun was hiding most of the weekend but it did not stop us from enjoying the hot tub and the fire pit. The geodome was a lovely spot to chill and read too. We also enjoyed feeding the pigs who equally enjoyed a scratch too. Would recommend to family and friends.

Great location, really friendly hosts, excellent hut and I loved the private garden. I wasn’t sure on a few things but Lucy was really responsive and friendly as super lovely. I highly recommend the place for some R&R, with great walks nearby and lots to see and do. I’d love to come back another time.
