Great quiet spot with lake and mountain views, perfect for a couple! It rained most of our stay so having a large living area was great! Access to a washing machine was a bonus.

Beautiful place...feels like another paradise on earth.

Very compact and well furnished. It was hard to locate at first though. The area was perfect for star-gazing.

Great stay, super easy experience.

Great location, nicely furnished, lots of windows and sunlight. Washer provided but no dryer, so we used the drying rack. Also to note that there is one flight of stairs in the apartment, with the bedroom and living room upstairs, and the toilet and a spare closet room downstairs. Would be difficult to move our large luggages up the stairs so we just left the luggages in the spare room downstairs which still worked out okay for us. We had a comfortable stay otherwise. Host was responsive. Would recommend overall.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Had a wonderful night's sleep. The room had everything I could have wanted and was really clean and well organised. We only stayed for one night but the room would be perfect for longer stays. Highly recommend.

Très beau logement qui permet d’accéder à une magnifique vue sur le lac Pukaki et le mont cook au fond. Dommage que la vue du logement ne donne pas directement sur le lac mais vue disponible depuis la salle de restauration à côté du logement.

Quick one night stay. Great location

The place is nice and very spacious living room. Central air conditioning. A very christmas-y light decorations are quite something. The addition of the heater in the living area is somewhat useful to dry our clothes. Overall it’s a nice place to stay!

Great place to spend time, comfortable and cosy with a great view. Breakfast foods a very nice touch. The apartment is easily accessible from the street. Enjoyed our stay very much.

The shower water pressure was amazing! We requested an early check-in since we arrived earlier than expected, and the host kindly agreed. However, it seemed like the cleaning crew was running behind schedule, so we ended up checking in later than the usual timing. Additionally, the previous guests took the TV remote, so we couldn’t use the TV at all. That said, the room was clean and tidy, which we appreciated!

An excellent place to stay whilst cycling the Otago rail trail. It was easy to find, right on the trail, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay (although the bed was just a bit too comfortable after a day of cycling 🙂) The fresh bread provided for breakfast was delicious - thank you Jaya and Brendan.

We absolutely loved our time in Tekapo at Lisa’s AirBnb! Lisa is an incredible host, provided us with so many local recommendations and got the hot tub ready for us every night, but always gave us privacy once it was ready. The hot tub was so blissful and was incredible for star gazing! We weren’t at the Airbnb much, other than for using the hot tub and sleeping so the size of it didn’t really bother us, but a heads up for others that it is quite small inside and was pretty tight for us as we both had large suitcases. I wouldn’t let the size of the Airbnb put you off though, as it’s a great Airbnb!

Very cozy and comfortable place that just feels like home. Super clean and you can find everything you need. I could see that the place has been furnished and decorated with good taste :) We stayed two nights and it was perfect to visit lake Takepo and Mt Cook area. There are a lot of nice things one could do in the area, but we did not have enough time. I would love to come back here and stay at Kathy‘s place. The place seems a little bit remote. That’s why it’s very calm and peaceful, but without a car it would have been difficult. Fortunately we had a car.

Anna and Mike were amazing! We asked for an early check-in, and although guests were there before, they let us know when we could arrive after they cleaned. Their place was pristine and tranquil. They were patient and flexible as well as I remembered the wrong check-out time and let us take our time. It's a little outside of Twizel, but this place was preferable for us. I recommend it if you like a more peaceful stay.

Our family of 7 stayed here for 3 nights and we wished we had booked for longer! It was one of our fav places to stay at on our whole trip - stunning views, comfortable rooms, super easy check in and out, clean, quiet … and one of the most well equipped kitchens for cooking anything imaginable (they even have a rice cooker and a Korean BBQ pan)! On a clear night you can go to the back of the house and see the Milky Way! Highly recommend and would come back again!

We had a good stay at Teresa’s unit. It was as described. Good location for visiting Lake Tekapo and Mount Cook. I would recommend staying here.
