The perfect getaway, my first time visiting the area and I couldn’t of picked a better spot! Jess’s place was cosy and calm with stunning views from the balcony, wish I had booked it for longer ☺️

Very enjoyable and comfortable stay

What a great stay for our family of 5 visiting Tongariro National Park. Convenient to food in National Park as well as all the hiing trails in the area. The Barn was very spacious and had eveything we needed in addition to being located on a lovely, peaceful property. We highly recommend choosing Tim's barn if you're in need of accomodation in the area and want something unique and cozy. Tim is a great host and goes out of his way to make sure you are comfortable in your stay.

Anne’s house was incredible. She was there to greet us, gave great recommendations, and was very friendly. The house was equally great. What a view! The place was spotless as well, with milk and a nice assortment of fruit provided. We couldn’t have been happier!

Love love love everything about this home. The views, the animals, the conversations. Everything was like a fairytale. The fruit from the farm was delicious (even tried a new type of fruit I’d never had!), the tub was perfect for a nice relaxing soak after being at the beach all day. Will be coming back here when I visit NZ again. 11/10

We had a lovely stay, complete with a tour of the farm and feeding the cattle and ducks - my kids thought that was amazing! Alison is fantastic with online communication, and was very patient with my excited children on the tour! Both Alison and Drew are lovely, and their property is immaculate. The house was well equiped with everything we needed, and very warm and comfortable. We would love to come back- especially in warmer weather so we can use the pool more!

Absolutely lovely place to stay. Spectacular views and so peaceful yet only 5 minutes from the shops in Pirongia. Our family of 4 were very comfortable and had everything we needed. Thanks Ruth and family, great host.

I've stayed in many air bnbs over the years but this one has to be my favourite of them all. John And Sue left so many personal touches. They were incredibly kind and accommodating and were absolutely lovely with our children as well. They showed us all around the farm and let the kids feed the animals which they loved. The space as well was incredible. So comfortable and relaxing with amazing views all around, and just a short drive to Raglan. Our only regret was not booking for longer.

The Rose Cottage is a gem! So glad we chose this Airbnb. Tranquil, clean and peaceful. Michelle is the ultimate host - proactive & offering advice and recommendations. She then gave us all the privacy we needed. The cottage was well equipped and spacious. We were also left fresh milk, eggs, bread and breakfast - what a treat! We enjoyed the walk through the bush and feeding the horses.

What a super place to overnight on our journey. The accommodation exceeded our expectations, comfy bed, lovely linen and Charlotte even provided beds and blankets for our doggies. This was so thoughtful and there were further thoughtful touches and gestures. Fabulous shower too. The fully fenced enclosed garden was wonderful for the dogs and peace of mind for us. Beautiful and peaceful surrounds. Thank you, great experience.

Prue & Rogers place has been one of the best Airbnb’s we have stayed at! It has the most beautiful view into the valley that makes for a very peaceful & restful stay. The place itself was spotless and very welcoming with thoughtful touches throughout. Prue is very responsive and happy to help with anything needed throughout the stay. We loved our entire stay and hope to book again another time! 🤗

We loved every minute of our time at the Private Country Cottage; the cottage was perfectly designed, modern, immaculate and comfortable. And the views from the rural hilltop location were spectacular in every direction. Piwakawaka (fantails) danced on the flax throughout the day. We couldn't have asked for anything else! We highly recommend the Cottage when you are looking for an Airbnb in the Taupo region.

Such a fabulous little hide away. Highly recommend to anyone looking to get in touch with nature and have a break from the city - the cabin was quaint and cosy!

We would highly recommend Steph and Jame's accomodation. The location of the house is very private, with beautiful views and friendly Llama's that visited us on a few occasions. The house was very clean and comfortable and the provisions that were left for us were a real treat. We had a totally relaxing and enjoyable stay. Thank you Steph and James. 😊

Melissa and Charlie’s home is beautiful and peaceful. Getting to meet all the animals was so nice! Would recommend to anyone looking for a quiet place to stay.

Great house in the country close enough to Matamata without feeling distant. Clean and tidy space and perfect for animals and young kids. Had everything we needed for our stay.

Everything about Silvereye was fantastic- fabulous house, amenities, position, hot tub, views, toys, games, activities, comfortable beds, the garden, absolutely everything. I couldn't think anything to improve this property. Book it.

Perfect setting for a relaxing evening on the deck with beautiful views. So peaceful just south of Auckland is exactly what we needed after our 1st day of driving! Off to a great start with accommodations on our 2 week adventure! Thank you Jan and John!

Before, during and even after our stay Annette made our visit so comfortable. Her warm charm as well as her husband Kieth’s attentiveness to host not only us but also our 4 children made our holiday a breeze. Their stunning property and surrounding are exactly if not more better then the photos, from the sheep to Fido the dog your stay at Annette’s is worth every penny. If you’ve ever had the chance to be in a warm, welcoming environment Annette’s Airbnb is unmatched. We came for the accommodation & her hospitality will definitely make us come back. Thank you so much for taking the time to make us feel like we are home We have nothing but smiles all around :)

The Walnut Box was just as described. Spacious, well-equipped, and spotlessly clean, with lovely views. Gorgeous sunrises and sunsets, and great sky gazing. Brenda was friendly and responsive. Our only regret is that we couldn’t spend more time at this peaceful spot!

If we come back to NZ, we will definitely stay with Kim and John again! The room was clean and spacious. We had the pleasure of meeting Kim and John and they kindly gave us a tour of their yard. Fantastic friendly hosts. Hope to see them again!
