We had a great family holiday in Sooke. 9 adults and 1 toddler. Close enough to go into Victoria! (Even by e-bike!!) Spent some time on the Galloping Goose and exploring East Sooke Regional Park. We spent some time on the water and in the nice big hot. The beds were all very comfortable!

I've hardly ever written a review for a rental, but I'm writing one for this house because it was really wonderful. We received nice, clear instructions on how to find the house plenty ahead of time. The house was perfectly clean, and all the furniture and kitchen items were in very good condition. The porch is very large and has a wonderful view, and one is right on the water on a perfect little pebble beach. We also liked the more general location very much; in particular the house is about 1.5 miles from the English Camp Park, which was very nice for a run.

Ashley and Julia were amazing hosts. Catered to an early check in time for my group as we took an early ferry and arrived earlier than check in time. The dock is amazing for crabbing as well!

I don’t even know where to start, but I guess I’d have to start and end with the stunning views from every part of the house. I wanted to stay there almost every minute I didn’t wanna miss a minute of the sunsets or the sunrises or the boats or the otters or the seals or the Incredible skies or stars… Plenty of room for six or eight people, well stocked. There’s half a dozen seating areas all different size shapes of chairs and cushions, I didn’t get a chance to use the Jacuzzi and the spa wasn’t working while we were there, but everything was exactly as advertised. Or better. I can’t think of anything that would’ve made my stay more amazing. I can’t wait to go back and bring my family.

This is a beautiful, tranquil location and lovely home. DM is a very attentive host, almost like a mom :) There were a lot of thoughtfully tailored touches that welcomed us and made us feel at home, including some really lovely breakfasts. It made for a very nice, cozy getaway with a lot of nice perks - massage table, firepit, and a super comfortable hot tub. if you're looking to be charmed by East Sooke, this is a fantastic place for it!

Liza made us feel welcome and cared about. The setting was beautiful, close to beach/lagoon while being mins from all amenities. Awesome bakery near by. Very clean. Would definitely stay again.?

Gorgeous spot and amazing view. Very isolated so if you are after quiet and tranquil beauty, this is the place for you. The bathroom was huge and the bed was super soft.

Stepping into to this lovely home is like jumping into a quietly luxurious nature retreat. Fantastic, friendly, and helpful host. Fantastic spot!

We had a great stay at Kelly’s. The place has lots of privacy. Kelly made us feel extremely welcome. Kelly’s positive and enthusiastic energy makes her such an unforgettable person. She went extra mile to be sure we had everything we needed. We were able to be in and out without feeling disturbing Kelly and Rory. The bed is one of the most comfortable ones we had ever experienced out of all our Airbnb experience. One would get a good night rest. We had meant to asked Kelly where she got the bed. 😊 For anyone who does not want to take a vehicle with them to Victoria. This is also an ideal place to be close to the ferry terminal, which you bus yourself downtown Victoria quite easily. Thank you for everything, Kelly. You are such an amazing human being and a host.

We had an amazing stay at Gramma Rikki’s beautiful home! It was perfect for our group of two families (4 adults + 3 young kids). The house was clean, spacious, and thoughtfully stocked with everything we needed—from a well-equipped kitchen and cozy bedrooms to toys, books, and kid-friendly touches throughout. The huge yard, hot tub, and fresh-water pond were big hits, and the peaceful setting made it easy to relax. Gramma Rikki was incredibly warm and welcoming - an outstanding host. We’d absolutely come back again!

Budd's place was even better than I expected and I can't wait to return. My friends were also blown away by how stunning it was. It had everything you could possibly need and was such a great escape from the city. Highly recommend!

The house was private and kid-friendly. There was something to do for the whole family and we very much enjoyed our stay. Highly recommended.

WOW - we had the best time, largely due to Kelly and Rory's welcoming hospitality. They gave us lots of information and ideas. They were both kind and helpful, generous and fun. We loved the dogs too. The bed was comfortable, the room quiet, the ensuite spotless. The views were amazing. The location allowed us to walk to the ferry terminal, the bus stop for trips into Sidney and downtown Victoria, and to a nearby pub/restaurant and bakery/coffee shop. This was a lovely experience. WE WILL BE BACK!

Nice little suite. Close location to the ferry and grocery store. Clean and easy entry.

Yue's suite is absolutely fabulous, clean, organised, specious, beautiful and had everything we needed. Yue is very helpful and responsive and we would definitely come again! loved it!

The home was beautiful and very comfortable, we were able to unwind and relax, the ocean was beautiful.

The view is spectacular! We really enjoyed the three different decks where we could watch for seals, otters, and whales!

We were so happy with our stay! This home had everything we needed, with many details considered. The ocean views were amazing and there is so much to do in the area, we didn’t even get to half the things on our list. On the rainy days, it was so nice to have the cozy living room with games, books, coffee and views! Sleeping arrangements for young children worked well- some of rooms were really dark and one room had a closet big enough for a pack-and-play or mattress. The whole family had fun playing hide-and-seek in the dark, and the giant jacuzzi tub was so nice. We hope to come back again!

Relax to the max! Our time consistent of cooking good food with friends, reading by the fire, hot tub X Repeat. Beautiful location overlooking the Juan de Fuca. Only sounds we heard were the wind and waves. The house is even better than the pictures. The great room is HUGE. The kitchen was so well stocked it felt like cooking at your best friends house. We are so grateful to have rung in the new year with such a warm and loving home. Thank you for having us.

Darcie's place is fantastic! It was exactly as described. The pictures matched the home. We especially loved the beds and the showers. Kitchen had everything we needed. Very close (2 min walk) to whiffin spit to walk down by the water. Upscale restaurant also 2 min walk away. Town of Sooke just a short drive with plenty of excellent restaurant options that we loved. Several local attraction nearby that were worth visiting too. Drive to Victoria Harbour < 1hr away, lots of great beached within an hour as well. Highly recommend staying here

The house is located at a beautiful private nook of the island. It’s lovely inside and outside. It’s stocked with all essentials and very well decorated. We had a wonderful time and the kids loved it too. Thank you Jean and Steve.
