Was great to stay at Savina’s place. She was an excellent host, very responsive and helpful. We had hired a car and Savina arranged parking across the road for us in the shared underground car park which was helpful, as the property is located about 25 min walk out of the main town. The property is most suited to a family with kids as the second bedroom has two smaller single beds. It’s exactly as described and we loved staying there.

Very beautiful apartment in a great location. When we checked in, we were met with a very nice host (we didn’t get his name) who showed us around the apartment and gave us great restaurant recommendations. We definietely recommend.

Heel prettig en ruim appartement met mooi uitzicht. Fijn dat er een parkeerplaats is. Communicatie met eigenaresse Marijke en beheerder Martin verliep uitstekend. Supermarkt is dichtbij. Gondel is iets verder lopen (10 minuten, terug bergop misschien iets langer), maar je kunt ski's en schoenen boven op de berg stallen (4 CHF p.p.p.d. of parkeren dichtbij bij de gondel (niet duur en ook in de kerstvakantie was er plek).

An unforgettable stay in a charming place! The interior is clean, bright, and well-furnished: perfect for solo travelers or couples. Equipped with all the necessary appliances, it allowed us to feel at home right away. The garden is beautiful, meticulously maintained, and very quiet: sitting outside to eat or simply read a book made our stay truly enjoyable. It will undoubtedly be our first choice when we return to Lugano! Thanks you Peter and Laurence :)

Alles war zu unserer besten Zufriedenheit. Marco ist sehr freundlich und herzlich. Die Unterkunft ist sauber, gut ausgestattet und sehr zentral. Die private Terrasse ist ebenfalls einen grosser Pluspunkt. Wir freuen uns, bald wieder dort zu sein.

Abbiamo trascorso un soggiorno davvero ottimo. La gentilezza e la disponibilità di Gianna hanno reso l'esperienza ancora più piacevole. L'appartamento era ben fornito di tutto ciò di cui avevamo bisogno e la vista panoramica dal terrazzo era semplicemente mozzafiato.

Giuseppe ist en super freundlicher und hilfsbereiter gastgeber, super schöne Gegend, das Restaurant neben an geführt von Silvan und Francesca ist eine top Empfehlung. Wohnung ist mit allem ausgestattet was man braucht. Küche ist top ausgestattet sogar mit gratis salz/zucker/ kaffe und tee. Der kleine ofen im Wohnzimmer ist das kleine Highlight und verspricht gemütliche Abende. Komme definitiv wieder.

This location is a 10 minute walk to both the train station and the ferry terminal. The apartment has a lot of space with everything you need for a short to long term stay. Washing machine is a great benefit. Clear instructions for getting there were provided. We found Varenna to be a great spot to explore the area and close access to the train station made it easy to come and go.

Die Wohnung im ersten Stock in einem modernisierten alten Haus ist wunderschön. Der Blick über die romantische Piazza, Insel, See und Berge ist bei Tag und Nacht ein Genuss. Wir haben leckeres Essen und kleine Shops entdeckt. Wir sind um die ganze Insel direkt am See gewandert. Am „heilige Berg“ haben wir Kapellen mit Fresken und Figuren bewundert, die von 16-1800 erbaut wurden. Man erreicht die Wohnung nach einem kurzen Fußweg durch die engen, malerischen Gassen des Ortes. Es war ruhig und erholsam.

Tolle Wohnung, wahnsinnig schöner Garten mit Whirlpool und Sauna und total privat. Herrlich, morgens mit Blick auf den See zu frühstücken. Und Valentina ist supernett und gut erreichbar. Gerne wieder!

Alles vorhanden, um selber zu kochen, aber auch zwei gute Restaurants in Fussdistanz. Grosszügiger Parkplatz. Tolle Sonnenterrasse unter Weinreben. Schöne Aussicht aufs Tal und die Berge. Kartenspiel für Abende. Fernseher, Malsachen für Kinder. Praktisch und liebevoll möbliert. Abwaschmaschine vorhanden. Hauseigener Wein und Schaumwein zu kaufen.

Great apartment in a great location with all the amenities. Close to many of the restaurants in town and a short walk to both lifts. Quiet, peaceful, and luxurious. Julie was also a very kind and responsive host. Highly recommend.

Excelente acomodação. Hospedagem muito espaçosa. Os cômodos são muito grandes e espaçosos. Há muito espaço disponível para acomodar as roupas e bagagem. Para acessar o apartamento é necessário subir 2 andares de escada e, para acessar o andar superior dentro do apartamento também é necessário subir uma escada caracol e isso pode ser um pouco trabalhoso se estiver com uma bagagem muito pesada. A casa tem ótimos utensílios de cozinha, fizemos várias refeições no apartamento. Muito obrigado à anfitriã que durante todo o processo do check-in esteve online e nos ajudou. O apartamento não possui vagas de garagem então é necessário deixar o carro na rua, mas atenção pois em alguns locais pode haver restrições na segunda-feira e também na quinta-feira. Recomendo o local! Espero voltar logo!

La casa di Sara è una vera terrazza sul lago! All’interno di un piccolo residence privato l’appartamento è un gioiello. Tenuto benissimo, con una cura dei dettagli altissima. La vista è mozzafiato e il terrazzo attrezzato con tutto ciò che serve, così come la casa. Sara ci ha fatto trovare anche frutta fresca, dell’acqua e il necessario per fare una piccola colazione. È stato come arrivare a casa propria! Complimenti anche per le scelte di arredo che rendono il tutto elegante e accogliente. Bravissima!

Grand logement très fonctionnel et parfaitement propre. Nombreuses randonnées à proximité immédiate, lacs accessibles en 10 min en voiture. Décoration qui donne une âme à la maison. Nous avons passé un excellent séjour chez Marco.

Een leuk klein appartement waar alles aanwezig was wat je nodig hebt. Daarbij was de afmeting van het bed ook prettig. Wij zouden het bij een volgend bezoek aan Sesto Calendo zo weer boeken.

Our stay at Carla’s was fantastic. The property offers a breathtaking view, with the lake, mountains, and sunsets creating a truly unforgettable backdrop. Experiencing it all from the comfort of the balcony made it even more special. The added amenities like the pool and jacuzzi were a perfect touch—super relaxing and just what we needed.

Das Appartement ist einfach fantastisch, vor allem der Blick auf den See. Die Küche sowie das Badezimmer ist voll ausgestattet, man fühlt sich wie zu Hause. Der Whirlpool und die Sauna ist super einfach zu nutzen – es gab klare Anweisungen auf Zetteln vor Ort, sodass man sich nicht erst durchfragen oder jemanden kontaktieren musste. Alles war selbsterklärend und unkompliziert, total angenehm, vor allem wenn man einfach seine Ruhe haben will. Genauso war es beim Check-in. Dieser erfolgte ebenfalls auf Anweisungen und man konnte sich quasi selbst einchecken. Die Organisation ist demnach super! Dankeschön für diesen schönen Urlaub! Wir kommen gerne wieder. Von uns gibt es 5/5 Sterne!!!

El alojamiento de Mónica e maravilloso!! A la casa no le falta detalle está súper bien cuidada y súper limpia. Tanto el dormitorio como la sala de cine son súper cómodos y el lugar estrella sin duda es el jacuzzi con las vistas al lago, un lugar idóneo para relajarse. El único inconveniente que podríamos decir es que la cocina no tiene vitrocerámica ni horno, por lo que no se puede cocinar y el acceso hasta la casa es un camino con bastantes curvas por lo que no apetece demasiado bajar al pueblo de abajo tanto para comprar como para comer en restaurantes que por cierto cierran muy pronto 😅 por todo lo demás es genial!!! Y Monica es una anfitriona súper atenta y amable!! Repetiríamos sin duda!!!

Just returned after a long weekend here with our two children. The views at this property were unbelievable and were the absolute highlight of the accomodation. Andrea was incredibly friendly, informative and supportive with any help we required. I would recommend hiring a car if you're staying here, we don't think we'd have managed it with the children and it would have left us feeling isolated. Be aware that if you're going with children that it can feel quite cosy and not much space. However, the outdoor terrace had plenty of space and was safe and secure. The lesireu facilities were okay, would benefit from some maintenance but it helped to give the children something to do in an evening. A local restaurant nearby but mostly requiring transport. Varenna is absolutely stunning and a must see, the Lovers Walk, the Lakes Bakery and just watching the world go by at the Lake was amazing. Definitely a trip for beautiful sites and slow living. Thank you ❤️

Notre séjour a été formidable. La vue était formidable sur le lac Majeur, surtout le soir et la nuit, c'était tout simplement magique ! L'appartement était tout confort et tout équipé. Propreté impeccable ! Fredrik était très accueillant et très disponible ! Merci à lui, pour ses conseils et sa bonne humeur communicative. Vivement recommandé !

Wir hatten einen richtig tollen Aufenthalt bei Luca in Ameno! Wir waren für eine Woche in der Unterkunft und haben uns direkt wie Zuhause gefühlt, es war sehr schön für uns. Die Landschaft ist einfach atemberaubend , der Garten hat unsere Herzen höher schlagen lassen, überall gab es Ecken zum entspannen. Mit den Fahrrädern konnten wir die Gegend erkunden, Luca gab uns Tipps für die Umgebung. Die Wohnung war perfekt für uns, wobei wir den größten Teil unseres Aufenthalts draußen im Garten verbracht haben. Luca war sehr freundlich und hat uns mit offenen Armen in seinem Zuhause willkommen geheißen. Wir hätten es nicht besser haben können und kommen sehr sehr gerne wieder! Alles in allem perfekt, ich würde gerne mehr als 5 Sterne geben <3

A nice and spacious apartment. Very clean and at a great location - the town is very peaceful and tourist attractions are not far away. The host was also very friendly and responded quickly. Would recommend.

Die Unterkunft war sehr sauber und top gepflegt. Kommunikation mit dem Gastgeber jederzeit reibungslos schon vorher der Anreise. Auch vor Ort war Manuel jederzeit erreichbar und hat auch nachgefragt ob alles passt. Er hat sich super gekümmert und die Unterkunft ist spitze. Wir würden jederzeit wieder kommen! Man kann sich hier sorglos wohlfühlen
