Our family was very impressed. It definitely was a cozy cottage. We would stay here again. We had three adults, two teenagers, and there was enough room for everyone. Placement was perfect, a little over an hour drive to the house on the Rock and hour to the Wisconsin dells. It's was chilly out so we didn't get a chance to try the kayaks or canoes but it's definitely something to put on the bucket list for next time.

Ginger is so sweet and has such an amazing farm. My kids really enjoyed seeing the animals and had plenty to do around the farm and in the home. My family and friends found the stay very comfortable and the house won us over with it's charm and layout. We were in town for a wedding, but this would be the perfect place for a country get away with multiple families or lots of kids of different ages. The only down side was that we happened to be there during lady bug season so there were a few around the house, but that didn't detract from our wonderful experience and 5 star rating.

This is a comfortable place in the middle of a great trout fishing area. This makes it very convenient for us. It's close enough to stores and restaurants, yet has a country feel. We love that they accommodate and cater to our dog. We return every year and can't wait until our next stay.

Every time I stay it is fantastic. Just a wonderful experience and all the little extra details that make it special. From the bathroom to the kitchen. Well thought out.

I rented Rodney's cabin Vireo for a girl's weekend with my daughter and my friend and her daughter. We arrived on Friday when it was beginning to snow. The driveway is long and very steep so we were thankful to be in an all-wheel drive vehicle-a Subaru (in the snow I don't think a vehicle without AWD would make it up the driveway). The cabin is nestled atop a ridge and is absolutely beautiful. It was incredibly cozy, clean, and had everything we needed. We hiked and cross country skied on the trails on the property. We overall had a really lovely stay. The only tricky part was how steep the driveway was with snowy weather making the cabin difficult to access. If there wasn't any snow or you have a larger 4 wheel drive vehicle it wouldn't be an issue. We would return and would love to see the property in the summer! Perfect getaway! The garage area setup with a bar, refrigerator, heater, and games was an absolute hit! The house had plenty of room for our group, plus some. Very clean. Theresa was an absolute delight to communicate with and answered all questions in a timely manner. Definitely felt right at home and if anything was needed she would help! Will be returning for sure!

We enjoyed our stay at Ardene's place! The house is very spacious with enough bedrooms and other areas that are a nice touch (deck, sun room). The house provided more than enough dishes and kitchen items to be used. It was also nice for the host to have games. FYI there are 2 steps to get into the main living area. We would recommend this place!

As advertised. Very conveniently located in viroqua, walkable distance to many amenities (coffee shop, fly shop, groceries, Walgreens). Nice central place to rest after fishing.
