Our family had a wonderful one-week stay at Daniel and Malin’s house - the perfect home with the perfect hosts. The house and property are stunning - just as beautiful as in the photos. Everything inside the house was very well-appointed and in great shape - comfortable and clean bedrooms, great kitchen, lovely bathrooms, great electronics (WiFi, smart tv, Sonos home audio). The terrace and outside areas were great and we had numerous meals and family gatherings outside. The area is so tranquil and beautiful, with the stunningly beautiful lake only an eight minute walk away. We even spotted deers in the garden in the evening. Daniel was the perfect host - very helpful and responsive, and very generous in sharing everything their home had to offer, including their son’s toys and books, which my four year old son just loved. We’re already planning another stay here next summer, and cannot recommend this home and host highly enough!

Charmigt hus med en stor härlig trädgård. Både barn , vuxna och vår hund uppskattade verkligen detta mysiga boende. Fin miljö runt omkring med närhet till hav och bad, skog och promenadstråk. Väldigt vänligt och positivt bemötande.

We have stayed in about 30 AirBnBs but this was our favorite. The rooms caught the morning sunshine through to the evening sunset, everything was so spacious and comfortable. The location was blissful, yet within an easy drive of Vaxholm and Stockholm. Supermarket close by. We all felt so relaxed.

A unique home located in beautiful surroundings. The house is stylish, spacious, clean and well appointed as per the listing. Nice touches like toiletries make it homely. We did not use the pool as found the water a bit cold for our taste. It was perfect for our family of 5 with older kids. The steep stairs may however be an issue for toddlers or people with reduced mobility. The self check in was a dream and Kim is very responsive and attentive, totaly deserves the 'superhost' label. We would happily come back again! In terms of location, the neighbourhood is very calm and safe and you feel like you are in the real Sweden as there are no tourists. The supermarket and local shops and cafes are a 10 min stroll away. The access to the centre of Stockholm is straightforward via bus and underground within about 30 mins door to door, depending on the time of the day. We went there every day and used the SL Stockholm transport app to buy group tickets.

Eine superschöne Gegend, ganz ruhig und idyllisch. Das Haus ist auch sehr schön und gut ausgestattet. Leider konnte man den Hot Tub nicht benutzen und wir mussten den Pool zu Beginn etwas umständlich säubern, aber Magnus war sehr hilfsbereit und hat übers Telefon alles versucht, um uns zu helfen. Ein netter Kontakt und ein wirklich toller Ort. Empfehlenswert!

Ideales Haus für einen Schärenurlaub! Es liegt sehr zentral und ruhig, Radverleih, Bushaltestelle, Meer, Hafen, Fähre, alles ist einfach erreichbar. Das Haus ist groß und toll ausgestattet. Die Kommunikation mit dem Besitzer war von Anfang an sehr unkompliziert. Können es nur weiterempfehlen!

Apartment as described and matched the pictures. Kitchen was well stocked for its size. Coffee included! Convenient Gamla Stan location - easy to walk across the river and on a quieter Gamla Stan street. Very close to palace. A nice bakery restaurant is at the end of the street by the water. Obviously keep in mind that it’s an old building as it lists, full of charm. Depending on your family’s preferences, do note that the bathroom is quite snug. Our children also slept on the couch in the living room but they did find the house was a bit creaky when our family member sleeping downstairs would need to use the spiral staircase near the couch to reach the bathroom at night. FYI, if you’re planning on sleeping on the couch but you’re a light sleeper. If you have mobility issues, this probably isn’t the right stay for you. Overall good stay and everything was as expected for a Gamla Stan apartment.

this is a lovely apartment in a hip district of Stockholm with lots of good coffee, shops and restaurants. The bed and pillows are comfortable and the kitchen has everything you would need. It’s nice because it also has an elevator.

Nydelig og sjarmerende leilighet midt i gamlebyen. Den ligger i toppen av et eldre murhus uten heis, og anbefales for gjester som ikke har problem med trapper. Det er svært kort gangavstand til alle severdigheter og spisesteder i gamlebyen og huset er en autentisk og sjarmerende bygård. Som man må forvente midt i sentrum er det en del støy, både fra utelivet i helgen, og fra søppeltømming og varelevering på morgenen. Leiligheten er smakfullt innredet og inneholder alt man trenger for et behagelig opphold. Vi kommer gjerne igjen!

Had a wonderful stay in Gamla Stan! Bella was a great host and worked with our schedule to make check in and check out easy. The location can’t be beat. This was our first visit to Stockholm and we loved every minute. Would absolutely stay here again.

Det var en meget positiv oplevelse at bo i Pärs lejlighed i Stockholm. Vi blev taget godt imod af underboen, som gav os en rundvisning og var behjælpelig med spørgsmål. Lejligheden var meget større end vi troede, og virkelig hyggelig. Alt var pænt og rent. Der var sørget godt for os med sengetøj, rene håndklæder, turistbrochurer og en flaske bobler i køleskabet. Vi følte os meget velkomne! Lejligheden ligger meget centralt og i gåafstand til centrum. Der var fred og ro på gaden. Restaurant Lille Capri i stueetagen var et skønt sted, hvor vi spiste 3 gange. Her fik vi super service! Alt i lejligheden var i den skønneste orden, og Pär var hurtig til at svare, hvis vi havde spørgsmål undervejs. Tusind tak til Pär for godt værtskab - vi vil varmt anbefale denne bolig til andre.

Wow…did not realize when we booked Elisabeth’s apartment we would be totally surrounded by Old Stockholm’s history. What a wonderful place to stay when visiting Stockholm. We walked the entire city during our visit. We will be back!

This apartment makes you feel like you are home away from home. It feels lived in unlike some other apartments that can feel quite sterile and cold. It spacious enough for everyone to feel like they have their own bit of the apartment. Very convenient in terms of location with a subway stop near by but also lots to do within the neighborhood itself. Perfect for a couple or a small family.

Måske det bedste sted vi har været med Airbnb- så dejligt et sted, stort, rummeligt, hyggeligt, smukt indrettet. Alt hvad man har brug for, og mere til. Velkomsten var helt fænomenal, Lena var så hjælpsom, og vi følte os meget velkomne. Både perfekt beliggenhed og skønt sted bare at være og slappe af. Rolig og centralt kvarter. Lena og hendes skønne lejlighed har vores allerstørste anbefalinger., og vi håber at komme igen en anden gang.

Ich hatte das Vergnügen, in dieser wunderbaren Ferienwohnung zu übernachten, und ich kann nur Positives berichten! Die Wohnung ist geschmackvoll eingerichtet und bietet alles, was man für einen entspannten Aufenthalt benötigt. Die Lage ist einfach perfekt und ruhig, sodass man die Umgebung leicht erkunden kann. Die Ausstattung war hervorragend:eine voll ausgestattete Küche,bequeme Betten und ein modernesBadezimmer. Die Gastgeber waren äußerstfreundlich und hilfsbereit. Sie habenuns mit tollen Tipps für Sehenswürdigkeitenversorgt versorgt was unseren Aufenthalt nochangenehmer gemacht hat. Ich kann diese Ferienwohnung nur wärmstens empfehlen und freue mich schon auf meinen nächsten Besuch!

Had a great time with kids playing in pool

We had such a great week in Johan’s house and were particularly grateful for the helpful suggestions about the locale which really helped us get the most out of our stay. It really is an idyllic setting with gorgeous swimming spots nearby and great running routes from the doorstep. The house is very comfortable and Johan was a super kind and helpful host. We were travelling without a car and it’s very easy to zip about from the house via Sweden’s fantastic and unbelievably cheap public transport- bus & train to Stockholm centre, ferries to the beautiful archipelago, safe and easy cycling everywhere. Our teenagers enjoyed exploring the new and very cool ‘Gasworks’ area around Ropsten. 100% recommend!

Fint hus nära båtmarinan där man även kunde bada från bryggan! Det som drog ner betyget var att vissa köksredskap var slitna och hade behövt bytas ut samt att det endast fanns 1 solstol.

Wonderful place, we had an amazing holiday. Really close to central Stockholm but totally away from it at the same time. Amazing variety of water sports included. Perfect sunsets, wake up to an amazing view. Couldn’t recommend it more

Für uns war es perfekt ! Wir waren 3 Erwachsene mit 2 Kindern. Das Haus ist gross und gemütlich , zudem ein schöner Garten zum Spielen für die Kinder. Badesteg ist ca 300 m hinter dem Haus, zum grosser Badestrand sind es ca 15 Minuten Spaziergang, Bushaltestellen nach Stockholm oder ins Zentrum von Vaxholm (3 Stationen) bzw zum großen Fähranleger sind auch nur ca 300 m entfernt. Die Fähren 83 welche in der Sl card enthalten sind fahren nur 3 morgens und 3 am Abend bzw Nachmittag, für die anderen Fähren welche den ganzen Tag fahren muss man extra zahlen, aber die Fährfarten sind traumhaft schön. Ansonsten einfach mit dem Bus/ Metro nach Stockholm fahren . Vermieter war immer erreichbar und unkompliziert, auch ein späterer checkout war kein Problem. Perfekte Unterkunft für eine Mischung aus Stockholm city und Vaxholm !!!

Our stay was great, really great. The house is well equipped, with good rooms, very clean and the host responded quickly when we needed. In addition, they left the house all decorated in a Christmas atmosphere and it was wonderful to have spent Christmas there.
