The house is located on a beautiful hill overlooking the ocean & surrounding mountains, but with winter conditions a good car is definitely recommend. It’s cozy & the bedroom with the fireplace and chairs overlooking the area is stunning. Things to improve: Include timber (the owner was so kind & brought us some because we didn’t know we have to bring our own), maybe lower the price a little bit, the check in & checkout times & also making the beds ourselves we hoped it would be included in the amount of money we paid. But that’s only our opinion and we would definitely come back because we felt very comfortable in the house! Good distance to beaches, a nice coastal walk & also Leknes :)

What an incredible stay! Elin and her husband Hans were absolutely amazing. This was our first time in Lofoten and Hans helped us find everything in the house, made sure we were safe, and even helped us to filet a fish we bought from a local fisherman! One evening after a long hike, we came back to a tray of homemade cinnamon rolls baked by Elin that were some of the best I've had. Super clean, cozy and affordable house and the hosts' hospitality is incredible! Staying in Hans and Elin's place made this trip unforgettable.

Wow! Perfect place for our family of four. The house was cozy and comfortable, kitchen and bathroom were nice size and finish. The property its self was so beautiful with such an idyllic backyard leading down to the fun and cozy boathouse where we hung out playing cards and enjoying the beautiful summer evening. The beach area was fun to explore. Quiet area, free from the traffic and crowds of Lofoten, beautiful mountains around and a few beaches up and down the road. Wish we had stayed longer! Can’t wait to come back and relax here again!

Die Unterkunft ist absolut grandios. Sehr modern eingerichtet und mit einem atemberaubenden Ausblick auf den Fjord und die umliegenden Berge. Man fühlt sich sofort zuhause. Jann-Olav ist ein super Gastgeber. Immer erreichbar und hilfsbereit. Wir hatten tolle Skitourentage. Man erreicht die meisten tollen Touren in maximal 20 Minuten. Mit dem Fernglas kann man von der Terrasse die Gipfel sehen. Wir können diese Unterkunft ohne Einschränkungen empfehlen. Wir kommen sicher wieder.

Wir haben uns in diesem gemütlichen und modern eingerichteten Haus sehr wohl gefühlt. Da wir im Winter da waren haben wir den direkt ans Haus angeschlossenen Carport sehr zu schätzen gewusst, um jederzeit trocken ins Haus zu kommen. Es ist zentral auf Lofoten gelegen, ein Supermarkt ist im Ort, im nahen Leknes gibt es viele weitere Läden. Die Gastgeber waren jederzeit erreichbar und haben uns Tipps zum Sehen der Nordlichter gegeben. Diese Unterkunft kann man sorgenfrei buchen. Wir hoffen sehr, dass wir eines Tages wieder kommen!

La maison de la famille de Erna est merveilleuse, et confortable on se croirait chez nous. Mes enfants ont adoré pouvoir jouer tranquillement dans le grand espace salon inondé de lumière par la grande vais vitrée qui donne sur le jardin et la balançoire.

Cathrine’s place is very nice with great views of the mountains and we witnessed the awesome Northern Lights from the porch. The place is super clean and Cathrine was a wonderful host.

We had a wonderful stay here. Everything was just as described and pictured. Elisabeth’s place was very comfortable, cozy, and warm. Our cat host was wonderful and super snuggly as well ☺️ Elisabeth was great at communicating and gave us lots of great suggestions. We were able to see the northern lights from the yard and the neighbor even gave us a great suggestion for a hike we did the next day. Would stay here again if we ever get the chance!

The house is very well cared for and beautifully situated with great views and access to a cool walk along the water. It sits at the end of a road in a quirky local neighborhood. It has everything you need including a washer and dryer, a lovely modern bathroom with a large tub and separate shower. Great base to see lots of popular hikes. Also very close to the super cute village of Nusfjord. The only problem was staying up way too late each night to look out the windows.

De woning heeft inderdaad een uitzicht dat je niet vaak zal tegenkomen en is voorzien van alle luxe die je maar wenst. Veel privacy, licht lucht en ruimte op een paar km van de plaats Stokmarknes. In deze plaats vind je alle hoognodige zaken met name in één van de vele supermarkten. Het brood bij de locale bakker is heerlijk. Het is dus een uitstekend vertrekpunt voor sightseeing en een van de vele indrukwekkende wandelingen in de Vesteralen.

Nous avons passé une semaine chez Angela et Kenneth, ce sont des hôtes attentifs, réactifs, arrangeants et très charmants. Nous nous sommes sentis à l’aise, la maison est très calme et la literie formidable. Difficile de quitter, il y a beaucoup d’endroits encore à explorer, hâte d’y revenir. Ein tolles Haus, sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Mit allem, was man benötigt und sich vorstellt. Ein kleines Problem mit dem Wasser durch den plötzlichen Wintereinbruch konnte dank einer sehr schnellen Kommunikation und Reaktion behoben werden. Wir haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen. We had a great stay in Eggum! We liked the peaceful location. The house was very comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked. Our kid particularly enjoyed the toy trains when we were in the house :)

Les propriétaires et leurs enfants forment une famille très agréable, gentille et prévenante qui reste toujours à l'écoute tout en respectant votre intimité. Le logement est parfaitement entretenu et le bain à bulles extérieur est absolument fabuleux - un moment de détente garanti après vos journées de découverte. Sans oublier la vue fabuleuse qui s'offre à vous et qui rend l'expérience encore plus magique. L'ambiance est si chaleureuse qu'on se sent rapidement à l'aise, et les discussions avec les hôtes sont naturelles et enrichissantes. Une expérience authentique que je recommande sans hésitation à tous les voyageurs !
