We found Brandy's place to be relaxing and peaceful. Great view of the lake. Nice pier. Lots of comfortable outdoor seating. We had everything we needed for cooking meals. We were more than pleased to find a high chair, pack and play and baby gate. Master suite was very spacious. everything was neat and clean. More stairs than we anticipated. Overall great experience.

This was our 2nd time to book this amazing property. We needed a centrally located “home base” to visit family and friends in East Texas for a week and this place was perfect. The NUMEROUS amenities (hot tea, coffee, snacks and more) along with the extra special touches Libby provides are absolutely incredible! We also enjoyed the comfort of the adjustable queen size bed, the peaceful front porch views of nature, and the privacy this home offers. Libby goes out of her way to make her guests feel safe, welcome, and appreciated. The home is spotlessly clean and the towels and linens are fresh and soft. Libby has it stocked with all the essential items a guest could need or want! It is truly an excellent VALUE for everything it offers! We highly recommend this B and B to anyone needing a place to stay in East Texas! We guarantee you will LOVE it!

We enjoyed our stay so much that we are already looking forward to going again. Robin was a terrific host and we enjoyed hearing about how she got started. We also loved getting up close and personal with the animals on her ranch.

The cabin #5 was perfect for my son and I a few days doing some wheelin at barnwell mountain ohv, nothing beats a shower and good nights sleep afterwards….the cabin was very well put together, very cozy, the towels and bed linens were soft and comfortable. The kitchen was just the right size and had all basic necessities for cooking meals. Despite being so close to a main road we slept very peacefully and did not have a single sister from traffic that tells me this cabin is very well insulated and the air conditioning worked very well! Thanks again and we will be returning

My family had a great time at Hat & Star ranch for a quick getaway during spring break. The ranch is beautiful and we had a great time just relaxing and enjoying the peacefulness.

It was great for a weekend work trip stay. I would definitely recommend.

absolutely lovely people! there were bad storms coming a day she messaged us to give us a heads up about it so we could plan for it and she left the door unlocked so we could get in quick because it was raining cats and dogs when we got there. when we lost power they came and assisted in getting a generator set up so we had power. they were just wonderful and I would recommend staying with them
