We were staying in Marathon City for skiing at Granite Peak. It was the perfect spot for my girlfriend and I during our weekend away. The house is well appointed and was spotless. The kitchen was well equipped with all the essential cooking supplies and the rooms were outfitted with plenty of extra towels and blankets. The king size bed in the main bedroom was very comfortable. We also appreciated the little decorations that made the place feel special. It was very convenient to have garage parking as well during the winter so no need to shovel snow off the car (we were there during a mini snowstorm that came through overnight). The host was very responsive and was quick to help us take care of a little issue we had with the WiFi one night. All in all a great place that I would recommend for couples as well as small families. Would definitely stay here again when visiting Granite Peak.

This place exceeded expectations. Even thought it’s a shared outdoor space it still felt very private and like no one else was around. The house is spacious and very comfortable. Highly recommend.

Enjoyed my stay. Nice touch with basket of snacks and toiletries. She even shoveled out my car twice, which I greatly appreciated!!

This was a lovely stay for our family of 4 plus friends for the kids. The property is beautiful and well kept with everything you could need. On a quiet end of the lake. The lake was clear and cool. Such a great week! Host responded so quickly when air conditioner wasn’t working well and got it fixed by early next morning. Would definitely go back.

When we arrived we were so pleased with the space! It was beautiful and the quality of the home was apparent. The views were spectacular. The area was quite private and secluded; just what we were looking for. The space was perfectly sized and appointed for our group. We were disappointed by the following things, which we shared with the owner bc we couldn’t tell if it was a disrespectful guest, or things that had been overlooked by a cleaner. We discovered a broken plate placed carefully under the other dishes; coffee grinds and water in the coffee maker; and a multitude of dirty dishes, including pans, bowls, glasses, silverware, and plates. Again, this is not necessarily the owners fault, but for the cost, we wanted to be sure they knew how we found things bc we didn’t expect to have to wash all of our dishes before using them! We were careful to follow all checkout rules and leave the space neat and tidy. Can’t beat the beautiful sunsets and views.

Great house for my family to stay in for a weekend visit to Michigan Tech. It is close to the college and restaurants. The house was clean, very comfortable and had everything you needed. Loved that it has 2 full bathrooms, which made getting ready for our large group, morning college visit a lot easier.

LOVED this home for a girls weekend! Thomas was so responsive and answered all of my questions prior to arriving. It’s great that you have access to the pool and hot tub at Lakeview Hotel which is a 2 minute drive away! The home is as pictured and the kitchen comes stocked with all the utensils and cookware you would need.

House has been completely remodeled everything looks nice and is clean. We stayed to snowmobile, the trail is about a mile in either direction not hard to find or get to you have 2 trail options to choose from. We have a large 41ft gooseneck trailer and we pulled straight in off the highway and were able to make a complete turn around in the driveway in front of the house so you can either do that or back in the driveway is straight no issues there. We always need to remote work at some point during our stay so WIFI is a MUST for us and this house does not have good internet its pretty spotty at best. I think they have a Hughes net dish but need to upgrade to Starlink that would solve internet issues. Basement has pool table, darts and a Pac Man game which was fun but the basement is very cold in the winter. Rooms were all good size and they had good furniture throughout the home with plenty of seating options for much larger groups. They were quick to respond to any questions.

I couldn't have been happier with my stay at Stacey's. there's so much care to make sure you are as comfortable as possible. the noise machines and individual rooms A/C was like a dream. I traveled with my older mother who isn't as able bodied as she use to be and I didn't have to worry about her falling in the shower or not being able to get on and off the furniture. this place was also so close to everything! if it has been into the warmer season it would have been perfect for a beach lover!

My husband and I visited Lake Ann, Traverse City and Leland over the weekend along with our daughter and son-in-law. The place was ideal for us. It was as described and so comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed. The beds and pillows were very comfortable. The sofa is a pullout, but it had an auto inflate air mattress rather than the old uncomfortable mattress. The bathroom was spacious and the shower was great. We would absolutely stay there again!

I can’t recommend Bridget’s place enough! My family and I came up to st ignace for a UP get away weekend and this was the perfect way to spend time together in the evening while also having privacy. The location is walking distance to Sheplers which was so convenient for getting to Mackinac island. The space itself is roomy, clean and gives you a beautiful view of Lake Huron. Bridget is also a prompt, clear and thoughtful host. If we ever get the chance, we will absolutely be staying with Bridget again in the future!

Wonderful place for the right price! We’ve stayed here for the last 5 years under various owners/hosts via AirBnB and it’s always been perfect. Great rates under the new owner and a huge space, especially if it’s just a couple like us. Great private pool for this building that we never had to share and right next to the Lakeview hotel and Shanty Bar for food and drinks. Huge points for the wood burning fireplace and abundance of firewood. Host is responsive, but also left us completely alone unless we reached out which we appreciate. 10/10 would stay again! Best AirBnB on Shanty Creek Property!

Had a great time. Try to only take one vehicle so you can snag the first come first serve parking and not have to park in the garage. Check in instructions were very clear. Having the water on hand, soaps, qtips, guestbook, etc. were nice touches that other airbnbs don’t really think about.

We had a great time! The location made taking ski breaks so easy. Carrie was wonderful and very responsive when we had questions. Highly recommend!

Carrie's Place met all the needs of our family. They went to snowboard and were able to do lots of that despite the recent ice storm. They liked the spacious rooms, winding staircase to the loft, fireplace and being able to have their own bedroom. The 3 boys also enjoyed the waterpark at Boyne Mountain Resort. The grandparents hope to rent the same place in the summer for some northern Michigan golf and hiking.

Surprisingly quiet area given proximity to hospital. Walkable to downtown.

Carrie was extremely accommodating and very easy to get ahold of. I highly recommend staying at this location it was an easy walk to stores and restaurants!

Great weekend get away for my wife and I. Love being so close to downtown, didn't have to worry about driving anywhere. This was an amazing place for a great price.

Cozy little place in a great location for things to do! Place was clean and organized, given clear directions of how to access and Carrie was very pleasant to talk to.
