As someone who’s been in dozens of airbnb rentals in Lebanon and other countries, this is probably the best one yet. The villa and its surrounding gardens and pool are breathtaking. It’s the ideal place to relax, swim, have a barbecue and a drink with family or friends. I had a great weekend at Phoenician landing and I hope to go back soon.

This was one of the most beautiful places I've stayed! Amazing hosts, beautiful location, amazing views! They were so hospitable and even left us some treats, extra blankets and were available whenever we needed them Thanks so much!

Ali and his family are simply wonderful hosts. From the moment we arrived we were made to feel right at home, from conversations about the plants he is growing or Lebanese politics, to sharing breakfast together one morning. Ali speaks 5 languages fluently (and dabbles in 2 or 3 more), has travelled the world, and is just a lovely human being. The three cats were a wonderful treat when we sat out in the garden, but they never intruded on our cabin. The cabin itself is basic, but has the important assets, such as aircon/fan and hot showers, and there is no noise at night. We had a car and could easily drive to Sidon/Saida (7 mins) or Tyre/Sur (30 mins). All in all it gave us exactly what we wanted: connecting with people, enjoyable conversation, and the opportunity to learn more about Lebanon.

This house is amazing, fantastic views, especially at sunrise and sunset. It's spacious, well appointed and a great escape in the countryside.

Leanour nous a très bien accueilli. l appartement était bien rangé, une terrasse splendide avec une vue magnifique.l appartement est adapté pour une grande famille. possibilité de faire un barbecue sur la terrasse. wifi et climatisation dans l appartement . A 7 min de Tyr .

This was probably the best Airbnb host that I have ever had. As for the location you have to be aware that this is south Lebanon and the place is quite isolated and rough, but totally fine for a short stay. We eventually ended up in Fawaz’s house, where he treated us like members of his own family, prepared a delicious breakfast for us and even gave us some gifts to remember about their beautiful family when we get back home. We planned to leave in the morning but spent until 2 pm talking with Fawaz and his wonderful family about all the interesting topics, so amazing was the atmosphere in their place. They really are the most hospitable people on the planet. The communication was simply wonderful, definitely exceeding what is expected as Fawaz sent us all the locations of things worth seeing in Tyre and assisted us through our trip in Lebanon and even helped us solve some problems with other Airbnb host! Wonderful people and we hope to visit them again somewhen in the future! Thank you Fawaz for the amazing time we had with you and your beautiful family :)

During my recent trip, I stayed in a breathtaking 3-bedroom apartment by the serene ocean. The host's communication was exceptional from reservation to journey's end, making this stay unforgettable. They were highly responsive, providing prompt answers to my inquiries and necessary information prior to arrival. Their messages were clear, concise, and friendly, leaving me reassured and supported throughout. A delightful handwritten welcome note greeted me, setting a personal tone. The kitchen was thoughtfully stocked with coffee and tea, making me feel welcomed. The host's attention to detail added to the apartment's warmth. The location provided sweeping ocean views and a soothing escape. The bedrooms were tastefully decorated, guaranteeing a restful sleep. The host maintained excellent communication, offering insightful suggestions for local attractions and dining.This apartment and host are highly recommended, contributing to an outstanding experience.

Hello Farah, it was really great in your House and we felt very comfortable. A perfect place to unwind and leave the stress behind. The accommodation was very clean and cozy and everything you need was on site. The breakfast offer is highly recommended and I would recommend it to anyone who wants to switch off from the city stress.

Besonders positiv war die gute Kommunikation mit Ali, da er die deutsche Sprache spricht. Hervorzuheben sind der große Garten, das Pool (was sicher im Sommer auch gefüllt ist), die nächtliche Ruhe und die Freundlichkeit der Gastgeber vor Ort. Das fehlende Wifi im Apartment konnten wir durch die eigene Libanon-Sim-Karte gut ersetzen. Das Apartment passte optimal in unserer Reiserouten, denn erst am nächsten Tag stand die Besichtigung von Tyre im Reiseprogramm hatten. Ursprünglich hatten wir das in der Nähe befindliche Bawab Hotel Guesthouse gebucht, der uns aber unmittelbar vor Anreise und erst nach unserer direkten Kontaktaufnahme die Unterkunft stornierte. Wir waren darüber sehr überrascht. Hätten wir nicht vorher Kontakt aufgenommen, hätten wir vor verschlossenen Türen gestanden. Wir meldeten den Vorfall airbnb, die uns unkompliziert Unterkünfte in der Nähe empfahlen. Wir werden in unserem Reisebericht "Rundreise Libanon Teil 11" zeitnah ausführlich beichten. I loved the stay. It was very cosy and clean. Would definitely do it again if I need to stay in sour.

Very friendly and informative reception by Dana, apartment is clean and cozy. Enjoyed free internet and private parking… Highly recommended. Will go there again for sure.
