We absolutely loved our stay here! It was a perfect location to the ski hills yet a very quiet setting that we could relax after a day at the slopes. The house was a perfect size and layout for our group, decorated very nicely, and had great amenities; hot tub, sauna, comfortable choices, and a great sized kitchen stocked with all the essentials.

Wonderful weekend with the kids and the dog. Loved the hot tub and the game room. Lovely, cozy place to enjoy as a family.

We had a wonderful time swimming, fishing off the dock (caught a nice sized large mouth bass & panfish) and boating. We enjoyed the paddle board, kayak and screened in porch. We used the fire pit one night before the mosquitoes came out. We didn’t use the hot tub. We rented a pontoon from Brett at Island View Resort. He also sold bait, gas and a map of the lake with tips for fishing the lake. We caught crappies, bass, panfish and northern. The bunkhouse was prefect for our two boys. Our daughter enjoyed the loft room. It was nice that there were 2 fans. The kitchen was well equipped and we liked having a large electric skillet. Didn’t use the washing machine except for washing the towels before we checked out. The beds were comfortable. We also liked the large dining room table -used it to play games in the evening. We’d definitely recommend getting peanut butter twists from Pattens restaurant in Orr. It was a very relaxing vacation. We’d definitely rent it again.

Beautiful getaway. A river runs by providing soothing sounds and picturesque sights. Can be seen from the wonderful hot tub out back and from the long covered deck. Some property to walk, but also close to many waterfall hikes, if you're wanting some outdoor adventure. During bad weather or you're feeling lazy, the couch is very comfy and the TV large. Hannah was extremely responsive and helpful (I got my car stuck, through my own fault, and she facilitated my escape). She provided recommendations of her own accord, and they all turned out to be accurate.

Beautifully maintained house with plenty of space. Aaron was an excellent host and was proactive in thinking about what we may need for our week-long stay. The property was lovely and one could see the efforts to maintain the house. We enjoyed the hot tub, sauna and everything working as expected. Sound did travel well in the house so that is one thing to be aware of.

Beautiful Home! Loved the decor and style of the furnishings. The kitchen was very open and inviting. Great view of the quiet and peaceful lake. Lots of wild life to view and enjoy. Three King size beds, giant shower areas, and deck on 2nd floor were amazing. Hot tub was a huge bonus, after figuring out how to get it out of sleep mode. Westin was a great and responsive host with any communication, including prior to booking. We would not hesitate to use this listing again in the future. Highly recommend! 10 out of 10!

The property is as in the photos, very spacious in the inside. Right on the water, only a minute or two from downtown Ely, but worlds away from the City. Nice setting, plenty of room for all in your group. Multiple levels, built to enjoy being on the lake, so many nice touches, and the kitchen is well stocked, with plenty of glasses/plates and everything required to feel at home. Plenty of towels! Hot tub is in a private setting! Second floor is reached by open stairway, includes an open area overlooking first floor, that includes conversation area with futon, and large bedroom with great view of sunrise and attached bathroom with shower and large jetted tub. We were just two, and felt comfortably together, larger groups will not feel crowded, and two cars can park in the garage, and they provide two remote garage door openers, so you do not have to get out of your car to open or close the garage door. Truly is like having your own place in the woods, if you were a millionaire!

this was an amazing place to spend a long weekend and get away from the city. David's place was pristine and comfortable. The best part was walking down to the beach, finding cool rocks and drift wood, and hot tubbing at night. We can't wait to come back!

Lovely cabin. Visited at the beginning of October when all of the colors are vibrant! Absolutely beautiful. Got to canoe, go star gazing, and hit some local trails. Our dog loved being with us. The cabin is cozy and had everything we needed to make all of our meals there. Would recommend!

We had a great time in Ely! This cabin was the perfect fall weekend getaway. Can’t wait to come back :)

we absolutely loved the Hygge House and our stay there. Not only was it adorable and beautifully decorated, it was immaculately clean and Kaity and Brett were wonderful to work with-So kind and responsive. We even added on another day to our trip because we were loving it and needing the quiet and rest away from home. The Cable area is our favorite and we will definitely be back to this wonderful place to stay.

Absolutely pristine. Peaceful. The first night, I saw a coyote run through the woods. The second night, three deer went through. My dog and I had a peaceful, absolutely grounding stay. Good moments of sunbathing in the early spring light. Easy to relax. Highly recommend the walking trail. It’s clearly marked and links right up to superior hiking trail. Felt as though I was walking amongst the deer. It’s pin drop silent, apart from an occasional car on 61, and the beach is a quick walk. I will certainly be coming back. Everything I needed for this weary family therapist.

My husband and I loved our stay! The cabin was so cozy and cute, and was remote enough for us to have some privacy, but also close enough to order food from restaurants or go to the general store if needed. Perfect weekend getaway!

Brandi's place was perfect for Birkie weekend. A little bit of a drive to the course and events, but not too bad. The cabin was as advertised and Brandi was very responsive and a great host.

What a beautiful experience! My family and I had a wonderful time. It was a restful getaway. Marissa was super responsive! We would definitely come back here :)

literally postcard perfect- just like all their pictures. i’ve wanted to stay at one of these since i saw ads on ig ages ago. this was perfect for my midwest adventure with my pup. and one of their cabins shares my name! missed opportunity, postcard! only things to note from my stay are that the key code to the door didn’t work (though the physical key in the lockbox did) and that the main window’s ball chain mechanism wasn’t seated in its housing properly. but with all that privacy and all that nature i didn’t mind sleeping with it up/open. definitely going to look into their other locations for my next doggie adventure!

Wonderful trail side place. Loved being in nature with more than your standard camping amenities. Beautiful cabins, perfectly clean bathrooms and showers, sauna, accessible firewood, quiet, right on the trails — and lots of hooks inside! Loved everything about it!

Kirk’s cabin was a gem to stay at. Not only was the space exactly what we needed, it was located near some great places to eat as well. Wish we could have stayed longer to explore the trails- guess that means we’ll have to come back!

Samantha and her husband have been absolutely amazing hosts! Their place was absolutely beautiful and cozy. We came here for our honeymoon and we could not be any more thankful than we are for this home. Staying here just made our experience getting married that much more special.

This was such a comfortable and cozy place to stay. It can get cold at night on the north shore in October, but a nice fire in the fireplace kept the cabin warm. The cabin is right off the road but perfectly secluded and private. There were a lot of nice extras like books, games, etc. I will most likely stay there again in the future. It was perfect!

We loved staying at Samantha's property. Communication was great, the cabin was clean and super cozy and had everything that we needed. This is a little gem up north and we would love to stay here again. The lake is beautiful and the rental comes with kayaks and other water toys. We kayaked to the local restaurant which was easy to get to and a very pretty, short paddle away. We loved sitting by the fire and they had ample firewood provided. Can't say enough about the experience!

Great little spot for exploring Ely and the boundary waters area. Will definitely stay again! Small, clean and great view of lake vermillion

The cabin was organized and cozy. It had a lot of amenities for such a small place. It was exactly what we needed. The bathroom was clean and very nice if being compared to a "camp" bathroom. We had the added surprise of finding lake jellyfish in Lake Armstrong. The host had never seen them before and it was one of the highlights of our trip. (Per Google they usually only appear in late summer) We would definitely stay here again.

Kevin's place was perfect in every way! The Homestead cabin had everything we needed. It was clean and comfortable and the perfect size for us. We will definitely stay here again when we come back to visit family!
