Jackie & Murray were very welcoming and do such a nice job! Murray met us at check in and walked us to our spot. The place was clean and very organized- we had everything we needed. Beds, pillows, & sheets were all super comfy too.

We were warmly welcomed by Jackie on arrival to the airbnb and made to feel right at home & at ease. The airbnb was gorgeous and such a little haven. We were sad to only be staying one night!!! Would highly recommend

Fabulous cottage. Loved staying here. The bed was super comfortable and the cottage had everything we needed. Everything was clean and well presented. It was all great. Tania was very helpful and friendly.

This is a great place to stay at Lake Tekapo, it’s just tucked away from all the crowds and new developments and feels like a genuine escape! The log burner made the place cozy and the outside tub was lovely, sadly no stars for us as heavy cloud cover. A really nice place to stay with little touches of luxury.

I selected this house for its central location to visit Mt Cook and Lake Tekapo. Location was good for those days of exploring. Twizel is very small, though cute. I took advantage of what the house offers with full kitchen and enjoyed the outdoor bath to star gaze. The house is beautifully built and comfortable. Bed was super comfy, great shower and appreciated being able to do laundry.

I highly recommend booking the hot tub and having a soak while the sunsets

One of the best equipped bnbs we have stayed at, after experiencing almost a hundred all over the world It is actually a gem in Twizel for the following reasons: - fabulous outdoor hottub; - squeaky clean and spick and span; - quiet but easily accessible by car to supermarkets and restaurants; - Responsive host; - Facilities just as described, almost brand new, wonderful

What an awesome spot just beautiful and a good base for traveling around the Mackenzie basin. Great amenities and well set up for families.

Fabulous location. Beautiful walk along the lake to the Church and township. We loved being able to light a fire after watching the stars on a clear, cool night.

Such an awesome spot. Had our own private cottage behind the shops with parking. The fridge was stocked with a few breakfast items and they even brought us bread for the morning for toast. There’s a little coffee cart in front with the shops so we were able to grab a cup before heading to check out Lake Tekapo and the observatory. We were greeted by Chickie, a solo chicken who was very friendly and we were also told there were alpacas on the property, but didn’t see any due to the weather probably. Definitely a unique and interest spot to check out, but still nice and quiet. Would definitely stay again.

What a perfect spot for a weekend away, walking distance to everything and the house has everything you need! Wish i could've stayed longer.

Sandra has gone above and beyond to make you feel at home in her carefully curated space. Anything and everything has been thought of and the attention to detail is impressive. The space is peaceful and perfect to unwind even over a gloomy Easter weekend! Highly recommend to anyone needing a wee gateway to Lake Tekapo and surrounds.

Great little house to stay. We were only there one night but plenty of walking and biking trails around the house. The house was nice and warm when we arrived late in the evening!

Wir sind bei untergehender Sonne nach Ohau gekommen-einfach so umwerfend schön, wir waren auf dem Weg schon völlig begeistert und das schöne Haus hat alles abgerundet. Wir hatten wirklich tolle Tage dort und wollen unbedingt eines Tages an diesen magischen Ort wiederkommen-vielen Dank an Clare.

Beautiful and cosy farm stay. Away from other other houses so we could be in complete darkness at night and see the Milky Way! Charlotte was very quick with her responses and Chad was kind enough to show us the calves and the farm.

Comfortable, clean and beautiful setting for our short trip to Pleasant Point. Ann was very helpful and responsive. Highly recommend!

Beautiful lakefront cottage with incredible views and a quiet and private location. This home is older but clean and well-maintained. There is no central heat or AC but the space heaters were effective. The host provided lots of information about activities. The house is located about 35-45 minutes to Mount Cook National Park and Lake Tekapo, 7 minutes from Lake Pukaki retreat (stargazing) and 15-20 minutes from Twizel with shopping and restaurants. The house was larger than expected with 4 twin and 1 larger (queen or king?) bed. Checkin was easy, kitchen was well-equipped and our stay was great.
