Jane is firstly an incredibly generous and responsive host. She was super flexible and reasonable to a request we had, and also checked in with us to make sure that that we were able to check into the house. The house itself is amazing. We enjoyed the pool and the massive kitchen. There is plenty of entertainment including table tennis, pool toys and floaties, a theatre room and games just to name a few. The house is beautiful, clean, spacious and well located. We would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Absolutely gorgeous, spotless house and a wonderful garden full of nooks and places to sit - and of course, an amazing pool! My mum likes to have her own space when we travel so it was great as well that the master bedroom had an ensuite. Our doggies had a fabulous time too - they had their evening walk each day in the bushland reserve that's right opposite the house and exhausted themselves running on the nearby dog beaches and tracks beside the Anglesea River. This was the first time that I've stayed at the back of Anglesea rather than right by the beach, and it was nice to be able to retreat away from the crowds and into nature (while still being a short 4-minute drive from the beach).

Lana was one of the most friendliest, accommodating hosts we have ever interacted with. She was extremely helpful and went out of her way to make sure our stay was memorable. The accommodation was cosy and homely, and the cherry on top was the fact that it was situated in a beautiful bush setting. We absolutely would comeback again!

Beautiful location within walking distance to everything we needed. Perfect for little children with lots of energy. The pool and the tennis court were a hit as well as the beach, lighthouse, rock pools, playground and inlet within walking distance. We arrived to an incredibly generous Easter gift basket as well, above and beyond what I’ve ever seen at any Airbnb I’ve stayed at. Beautifully maintained garden and grounds in the complex. We’ll be back again.

We have just returned from 3 nights staying here and cannot speak high enough about the place. It was immaculately clean and had everything we needed. The kids had an absolute blast with all the toys, the cubby house and the show stopping pool. The pool is huge and perfect for kids with a deep and shallow end, also loads of pool toys! A really great space for some quality time with family with fantastic communal areas in the heart of the stunning little village. We took the short 15 minute walk to Mr T and me for breakfast which again was gorgeous. We will definitely be returning with family in the future, thank you!

We had a wonderful time staying at Seaview Apollo Bay. The house had everything you needed and more. Hiring linen was an easy. Although GOR holiday letting sent through lots of information, was very hard to contact when needed to ask things. Would have been better if run by a local team. We would definitely book again.

Had really nice stay at Johanna Seaside Cottages 'Farm House', was the perfect country escape we were looking for and the kids loved collecting fresh laid eggs in the morning and having access to an indoor heated pool. Only minor complaint was not being able to connect to the internet Friday evening and not being able contact our host after 5pm. That said, the property caretake (Ben) was super helpful when he checked in the next day. Would definitely recommend if looking for a country escape along the coast.

One of the best short stay accommodations my family have stayed in. Comfortable, clean, felt like home and extremely well equipped with everything you could want or need. Very well thought out, accomadating and a great deal on price! Leanne is a fantastic warm and professional host who was very welcoming with great prompt communication. Really terrific house, great for a large group. Very comfortable, excellent little additions like board games and Finska as well as a well stocked pantry. Super clean. Nice private garden

Brilliant stay at Barbie May’s and will definitely be back there again one day. Suzie was extremely responsive and helpful with any requests, and even laid out Easter eggs for all the kids. The house was perfect for 2 families and it looked exactly like the photos. Great location to walk to the pub, shops and a great park for the kids. Thanks for a fantastic long weekend!

Very cosy house overlooking the forest and ocean, upstairs view is nice and pleasant. Perfect location with 5 mins walk to the beach/rockpool and the general store. There are kookaburras, Rosellas and cockatoos visiting the balcony regularly, though I don't recommend feeding them or eating outside, especially with little kids.

We had such a lovely stay! The house was impecably clean, very well equiped and comfortable! The location was very convenient, close to a lot of shops and restaurants but in a quiet, peaceful street. I would highly recommend this accommodation!

We had a great stay at Greg’s place. It is a classic Anglesea holiday home and we felt very welcome. It has been refurbished so feels fresh, but not too pristine that you have to worry. Super comfy beds and everything you need in the kitchen. Thanks Greg!

Ann and myself cannot recommend highly enough this beautiful Airbnb. A homely place with just about everything provided except for food and drinks, but even then some essentials were available, (tea, coffee, etc.). Lesley and Gary communicated well and we only saw Gary when we first checked in and he gave us a few good pointers and advice, plus a lovely chat. An easy walk to the beach, a rocky one, but great fun exploring. There are safe sandy beaches close by. For us two senior people a walk to centre of town was not attempted but younger folk will handle it easily. All in All good value for money, great hosts and a lovely Airbnb cottage. The Coastal Hide Away exceeded our expectations. The pictures made the place look great; it was even better in reality. The property was clean, spacious and stocked with everything needed for a comfortable stay. The spa was a real highlight and worth every penny - the perfect end to a day exploring the Ocean Road. As a host, Dariusz cannot be faulted. He was proactive with his communication and had thought of everything when it came to making checking in and out of the Hide Away seamless. We had a great time at the Hide Away, and won't hesitate to return should we head to Appollo Bay again in the future. Thanks!

We absolutely loved our three-night stay at Paul’s place in Apollo Bay. The home is a beautifully designed, modern space with impressive architectural features throughout. We were continually struck by the attention to detail and the thoughtful layout, which made the space feel both luxurious and welcoming. The house is equipped with all the modern amenities you’d expect, along with a fantastic library that showcases the owner’s excellent taste—particularly in design and architecture. Just one street back from the beach, the location is perfect for long, scenic walks in either direction along Apollo Bay. There’s so much to do in the area—from bushwalking and breathtaking views at Marriner’s Lookout to surfing, boating, and more. One of the highlights of our trip was spotting koalas at the stunning Shelley Beach—a truly memorable experience. Highly recommended for anyone looking to relax in style while exploring the natural beauty of the Great Ocean Road.

We have now stayed here twice. Just love the comfort and convenience of the house. I am sure that we will be back in the future.

A great stay high above Apollo Bay yet a short drive to town. Loved the wood burner in the evening and the birdsong in the morning. Pet friendly too. We’ve been before and hope to return again. Thanks Jeff!

We had a wonderful stay with our family over the Easter weekend. The host was incredibly accommodating and even went the extra mile to arrange a little Easter egg hunt for the kids — such a thoughtful touch! The property was spotless, spacious, and extremely comfortable, with everything we needed and more. The kids especially loved the games room and outdoor basketball hoops, which kept them happily entertained. Highly recommend this place for a relaxing and family-friendly getaway. Jakob
