Stunning location with a spectacular view. House was comfortable and coped very well with our group of 7, however the upstairs bedrooms need to be shared by a family as access to the bathroom was through the other bedroom. Road up to house very tricky and probably better attempted with a 4 wheel drive. We had a great week and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.

If you love waking up to incredible views, having a coffee(supplied by the host) sitting on beautiful outdoor furniture and dining in a room with a view please don't miss this place. And speaking of dining this is the best outfitted kitchen I have ever seen in an Airbnb. Superb.

Me and my family loved staying at this place! The host was helpful and responsive and the place was soo beautiful! The views of Mt Manaia in the morning to the spa pool at night really made us feel relaxed and made our time there so special😌 my daughter had heaps of room to play thanks to the spaciousness and as it’s close to the beach was the perfect way to spend a nice time away together. 10/10 would recommend and will definitely be back!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Karl’s house. The area is beautiful and peaceful. The home is well-equipped with amenities as described, including a hot tub under the stars. We are so glad we included a few days in the Northland during our trip. The natural beauty is outstanding, and we hope to return in the future.

Blown away by location and beautifully presented home, complete with all the bells and whisltes. Loved that we had access to plenty of beach toys, games and books. Did not need a thing. Felt right at home after travelling 800kms. Perfect size for a big whanau who love the beach. The sunrises and sunsets are stunning.

Great location and very comfortable stay. The house is in excellent condition, much better than the pictures. Beautiful outdoor deck to relax in the sun. The host was very responsive and helpful.

I cannot say enough about how beautiful Gill's home is. The surroundings are so beautiful, short drive into town where you can find everything your looking for. Gill is such a wonderful and kind host, if you have a chance to visit her home, you will not be disappointed. Thank you for making my son's wedding so special, so lucky to have met such a amazing woman.

Beautiful, peaceful location. House was spotless and had everything you needed. Multiple outside zones to enjoy the nature and water views. Super private and only a 7 min drive to the heart of Russell.

Five adults and six children had a wonderful weekend in Mangawhai, using Carolynn's house as our base. There was plenty of space for everyone to find their own corner, both inside and out. The kitchen was big enough for several cooks to work in at once and the dining table was big enough for us to all sit around so mealtimes were a treat, not a chore. Amazing view to the east, including sunrise across water and moonscape sand dunes. The spa at the end of the day was a special treat for our family, as was the large TV screen in the lounge. We missed a few books and board games but everything else was in good supply. Thank you for a special long weekend with my family Carolynn.

A beautiful home that was well equipped for a busy Christmas Day with family. The outlook was simply breathtaking. We enjoyed the alfresco areas, playing pétanque and finding the tree swing. A simply beautiful retreat to relax and unwind.

We stayed at Shivanis place over Easter weekend with a group of friends and our kids. It was perfect as lots of different spaces for everyone to hang out in. The house was fully equipped with anything you would need. Shivani was an amazing host, so responsive and really helpful with anything we needed.

Carmen and Justin are friendly welcoming host who go the extra mile to ensure you have a memorable relaxing break in their beautiful home. From the start they had excellent communication-accepting our late request on a busy weekend with a contractor rounding up on site. The home is cosy, clean, stylish and ideally located. It was children friendly and had plenty of board games and entertainment for quality family time. Despite our short stay we would highly recommend and book again in future. Thank you for a short and sweet getaway.
