Man hat ein eigenes Haus mit einem grossen Wohnzimmer zur Verfügung. Es befindet sich mitten in den Wiesen im hügligen Land. Der nächste Ort ist eine Fahrzeit von mehr als 30 Minuten entfernt. Man ist alleine da draussen. Es ist wunderschön und ruhig.

The place is very relaxing and peaceful. The journey there was quite a long one coming from Auckland on a raining day does not help. The house is very clean and spotless which is comforting. Even though there is no mobile coverage, there is a very good WiFi for me to beam projector to the wall for movies. It was a great experience overall.

The cottege is literally on the east end of Te Unerewera NP on the Rainforest Route, a perfectly idilic spot in NZ nature. Jane and Leon share their home with us/you as a guest and make a real and great effort to feel at home. Both of them are very welcoming and always good for a proper cosy chat about culture in NZ or anything else. It was a real pleaseure sharing their home and we would go back allways!

Loved the peaceful surroundings and waking to the sounds of rural life. The lodge was warm and well-stocked with everything that is needed. Home-made honey & the citrus air freshener were lovely touches as well as the rocking chairs on the deck! The lodge is well-presented with comfortable beds, a fully-stocked linen cupboard, and a well-equipped kitchen which would make an extended stay a breeze. Thank you for making this lovely retreat available.

Great accommodation and host especially as the fire had been started so the house was nice and warm when we turned up. Kitchen facilities were good with everything you'd need to cook a meal. Was overall a nice quiet place to stay.

Beautiful, relaxing and comfortable hut in the middle of nature. An unreal experience that we will surely repeat. Very friendly, hospitable and easy to communicate hosts. We can't wait to go back! Thank you for everything!

We really enjoyed our stay at Jessicas lovely farm cottage. The farm was incredibly peaceful with beautiful views of the rolling farm hills. We found it really relaxing and quiet. A great spot to unwind. The cottage had everything we needed, and the fresh eggs provided by Jessica were a thoughtful and much appreciated touch. Communication with Jessica was excellent. We’d definitely recommend this spot to anyone looking for a private, peaceful place to relax and enjoy the countryside.
