This vintage forest cabin is perched above our pristine mountain stream, set amidst a highly diverse indigenous botanical forest wetland.The cabin is entirely private with a large deck and extensive views of both mountain peaks. Hand built by owner over a period of two years, with hardwood floors throughout, hand waxed with beeswax polish from our own hives. Guests enjoy their own private access along their secluded forest path. A vintage Nestor Martin canon style wood stove will restore you.

River Cottage is a private cottage situated in Natures Landing, a secure echo estate, where small buck roam freely. Storms River Village, situated 11km from the Tsitsikamma National Park, is the adventure capital of Tsitsikamma and forms part of South Africa’s famous Garden Route. The unique self-catering Tin House is situated in the garden of a private residence with gate access and on-site parking. A mountain retreat for artists, lovers, writers, gardeners, hikers, birders, farmers, adventurers and all in pursuit of peace and beauty. Please note: 4x4 or capable high clearance vehicle required. Getting here is part of the adventure! The farm is only 5km off the R62 but this is a gravel mountain pass that requires the right vehicle. If you are travelling in a normal car or small SUV please reach out to make alternative arrangements for this last part of your journey.

A large bright upstairs room above a double garage with a private balcony. The room looks out over trees and the garden. Private, equipped, self-catering with a small kitchen area. It’s a short walk to the Krom river. Guests have access to the garden, jetty and canal. There is a canoe to use. We live in the main house a few metres away.
