We loved our stay at Astrid's place. It was a beautiful location with the house overseeing the ocean. The kitchen had all the amenities and the stay was clean, cozy and comfortable. The village is also cute and peaceful.

Stunning views and location, and so cozy. Highlights are the jacuzzi, sauna, access to take a dip in the fjord, the fireplace in the living room, the comfy beds, and fully kitted out kitchen with a great coffee machine. Host was very nice and always responsive. Highly recommend!

Bel appartement très cosy à l’étage d’une maison donnant sur le fjord, situé à moins de 10 minutes en voiture tant de l’aéroport que du centre ville. Il y a 2 chambres avec des lits très confortables, une cuisine bien équipée, une salle de bain avec une grande douche et un grand salon lumineux et accueillant. Un petit balcon offre une vue splendide sur le fjord. Frank a toujours été réactif et de bons conseils. Nous avons passé un excellent séjour et recommandons sans réserve cet hébergement.

The immaculate apartment had everything you would want for a short stay. It is away from the city centre but the local busses run at regular intervals and well into the early hours. After a northern lights trip I noticed the regular bus was running at 02.30! The bus stop is 5 minutes away with busses running every 10 minutes or so. The view of the city from just outside the apartment is wonderful and I managed to get some great photos of the Aurora over the backdrop of Tromsø. There are 2 well stocked supermarkets close by, one a 3 minute walk the other a 5 minute walk. For anyone who doesn’t know, in Norway, alcohol cannot be bought after 8pm on a Friday and 6pm on a weekend. I got caught out by my lack of local knowledge. In short the apartment the location and the host were everything I wished for.

Absolutely lovely and idyllic apartment in a quiet area. You can see both the mountains and the sea from the yard. The host was incredibly friendly and everything was explained more than clearly. We had a truly wonderful mini-vacation. The apartment was clean, and to our delight the breakfast items were very plentiful and had plenty of options. Highly recommended!

Logement rénové très récemment, très propre et fonctionnel. L’appartement de plain pied à une jolie terrasse : il est intégré à une bâtisse plus importante qui a été divisée en trois. Très calme car un peu éloigné de la route principale (E6). Emplacement idéal juste en face du quai du ferry qui relie Olderdalen aux Lyngen situées en face (40 mn de traversée). C’est très pratique pour varier ses randonnées sur les deux massifs. Épicerie accessible à pied. Départ d’une randonnée importante (Gillaviri) depuis le village. Aksel et Nathalie habitent une maison voisine : ils sont très amicaux et serviables. Même si ils ne pratiquent pas eux mêmes le ski de randonnée, ils connaissent très bien le sujet et sont de bons conseils. Logement idéal pour deux, même si un couchage d’appoint est possible dans le salon.

I loved staying at Henriette’s place! Easy access to the city via bus (which came pretty often + few bus options) and the studio was perfect for my needs as a solo traveler. Henriette was also super helpful - she allowed me to leave my bags at her place when I got to Tromso in the morning and even offered to let me borrow winter boots when it was snowing hard. Great host, great stay!

This house offers an extraordinary view of the sea and the Northern Lights on the beautiful island of Sommarøy. The decor is impeccable, creating a cozy and inviting atmosphere, especially with the warm fireplace that adds to the charm. The house is fully equipped with everything needed for a wonderful stay, and it is conveniently located close to Tromsø and the ferry to Senja. Runne was an excellent host, always attentive and even gave us Northern Lights alerts, which made our experience even more special. A perfect choice for anyone visiting Sommarøy!

Très beau logement et propre. Le paysage est très paisible. L’hôte est amical et vraiment très réactif aux messages. On a manqué de rien. Si on revient dans ce coin on louerait à nouveau ce logement sans hésitation!

We spent a few days in a beautiful house. Marianne was very helpful with her advices. I would roccommend it to all who wants to stay in a remote nice place.

Alles wie beschrieben, sehr gut ausgestattete Küche, viel Platz, super Lage mit sehr schöner Aussicht, idealer Platz zum Nordlicht schauen, Skjervoy ist 10 Minuten entfernt und bietet viele Aktivitäten (whale watching), Kommunikation mit Ingrid ist schnell und gut; haben unseren Aufenthalt sehr genossen;

The cottage is cozy, peaceful, and set in a beautiful location, and Benthe was so kind and helpful. Wish I could have stayed more days! Highly recommended.

We've had a great stay here on our business trip. If you prefer a calm place then it will be perfect. Good view out of the apartment, extremely spacious! Friendly and helpful host.

Maison bien équipé avec une vue super sur le port et le fjord . Commerce à proximité. À recommander!!!

La maison est spacieuse, très bien chauffée (chauffage au sol dans l'entrée et les salles de bain très agréable), avec une magnifique vue depuis le balcon (d'où l'on peut voir les aurores par temps clair!). Tout était très propre et cosy. Nous voyagions avec toute la famille avec deux bébés (9 mois et 2 ans et demi), il y avait des lits et des chaises hautes pour les deux. La cuisine est très bien équipée, mieux qu'espéré! La rampe d'accès pour les voitures est légèrement en pente, ce qui peut être un peu glissant en hiver mais les voitures de location sur place (4 roues motrices) sont tout à fait adaptées. Il y a une supérette accessible à pied (3min) et une borne de recharge pour voiture à 5min. Tom est très réactif pour toutes nos questions.

Ottimo soggiorno. L'alloggio pulito molto caldo e accogliente e la cucina aveva tutto per cucinare e mangiare e pulire (spigne, strofinacci, pastiglie per la lavastoviglie ecc) comoda e efficente anche la lavastoviglie! A mio parere le foto delle camere danno l'impressione di camere piccolole ma sono più grandi di quello in foto! Bagno caldo e con tutto il dispensabile anche gli asciugamani! La comunicazione con Anders è stata ottima e ci ha spiegato ogni cosa e disponibile anche nel chek out tardivo nel caso fossimo arrivati dopo le 22. Appartamento a 5 minuti dalla fermata del bus e in 20 minuti si è a Tromso! Vicino a neanche 5 minuti ci sono anche 2 supermercati ! Purtroppo nn abbiamo avuto la fortuna di vedere una bella aurora ma sicuramente torneremo qui! Super super consigliato!

Wir hatten einen wunderbaren Aufenthalt bei Johanna. Die Wohnung war sehr schön mit Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet und sehr sauber. Die Küche war sehr gut ausgestattet. Die Gegend ist ruhig, privat und eignet sich super für das Beobachten von Polarlichtern. Bei Johanna haben wir die stärksten Polarlichter unseres Lebens gesehen. Johanna selbst war eine sehr sympathische Gastgeberin.

I had a wonderful stay at this Airbnb! The place was exactly as described—clean, cozy, and incredibly warm (which was perfect for the season). The view was absolutely breathtaking; waking up to it every morning was a highlight of my trip. Siv was responsive and welcoming, making sure I had everything I needed. The space was well-maintained and had all the essentials for a comfortable stay. I’d highly recommend this listing to anyone looking for a peaceful retreat with a great view. Thank you for such a lovely experience—I’d love to stay here again in the future!

Deze plek is en blijft fantastisch. Allereerst was het weerzien met Frank heel leuk. Hij geeft je direct het gevoel dat je zeer welkom bent. Hij is gastvrij en vrolijk. Het appartement is heel gezellig en mooi ingericht. Schoon, grote ramen, fijn bed, goede keuken-benodigdheden en een houtkachel buiten om een vuurtje te stoken. Het uitzicht over de kust en de bergen is fenomenaal en door het snel veranderende licht, raak je nooit uitgekeken. Het is een heel rustgevende plek en het was een waardevol ‘thuiskomen’. Sehr gemütliche Wohnung mit einem schönen Ausblick in den Garten, direkt vom Bett. Ruhige Umgebung aber etwas hellhörig in der Wohnung selbst. Gute Anbindung um mit dem Bus innerhalb von 10-15 min. in das Zentrum zu kommen.

We loved Thomas’ house . It is in a beautiful area . We hired a car for half the time and it made it a bit easier to get around . We found the bus good once we fitted into their schedule . No buses on Sunday but Thomas offered to drive us into town in lieu . We chose to explore the beautiful area we were in on foot . Thomas was a great host , an excellent communicator and looked after our needs providing a lend of spikes and fluorescent gear . The house is beautiful, views are spectacular and it is very well appointed . No hesitation to recommend it . After 10 cloudy nights we missed out on seeing the Northern Lights, but the amount of snow that fell in that time totally made up for it .

Sehr schöne Wohnung, ist ein Aufenthalt wert.

Schöne Wohnung direkt am Wasser. Gut angebunden an die Buslinien ins Zentrum, Fußweg zur Bushaltestelle etwa 5 min. Zwei Supermärkte sind auch in unmittelbarer Nähe. Andrea ist sehr freundlich, zuvorkommend und hatte auch einige Tipps für Tromsø parat.
