Brilliant place to spend my birthday. Around the corner from a monkey sanctuary and 30 min drive from Swansea. Getting a taxi to Swansea is difficult and expensive but other than that the location is great

Had an awesome two day stay. The cottage was superb, all the amenities were as described and surpassed my expectations. We enjoyed a few coffee's, drinks and food in The ship in Aberporth and we booked a taxi local to Sharon and Charlie, who was there within a few minutes of us phoning. Delightful driver by the name of Gary, who we booked on both days. I cannot recommend this cottage enough and hope to in the future return.

Amazing experience and Carolyn was so helpful with everything at the cottage and with her recommendations to eat. Celebrated a birthday which Carolyn kindly let me decorate for the occasion. Beautiful scenery and fishing in the lake on the property whilst watching the ducks and geese was lovely.

We absolutely loved our stay at Glovers Cottage. The cottage was beautiful and in such a quiet, peaceful area. Kitchen was equipped with all the basics needed, loved the AGA. Very spacious cottage, decorated lovely - open plan flow was great. Hot tub is the cherry on top, perfectly clean on arrival, cleaned daily and kept at a great temperature throughout the stay. Overall a great airBNB which we would love to come back to. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Sarah was very quick at responding to any enquiries I had and was always on Hand to give very helpful information regarding our stay. The location is very remote and absolutely beautiful, I would definitely recommend using the what3words app as this took me right to the doortstep, it may have been difficult to find using a standard satnav but totally worth it for the peace and the views!! The property was pristine and stocked with everything you can think of for your stay excluding food. There was a Asda express nearby so we could top up on essentials and the nearest town was less than 10 minutes away however we didn’t stay long enough to check this out, the house comes with a whole pinboard of leaflets giving plenty of options for local things to do. We would definitely return!! Thanks :)

Had a lovely stay over the Christmas period with family. Beautiful property, exactly as described in the profile and pics. Very short drive to the coast where there are some great walks. Definitely looking to come back again.

We absolutely loved our stay at the enchanting cottage. It was very peaceful and situated in beautiful surroundings. We were delighted by the accommodation, and with four of us, we felt there was plenty of room. One minor issue we encountered was that the WiFi password was slightly confusing, and the postcode led us to a different location, which caused a bit of confusion. The description 'fourth house down on the right' was confusing; maybe 'the large red house' would have been more useful. However, the pictures showing the house and the location of the car park were very helpful in finding the house. Overall, it was a wonderful experience. We are incredibly grateful for your wonderful hospitality. We would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a cute and peaceful stay.

We had a very relaxing stay at the cottage! A home from home experience and a short walk to a field where our dog could run about. Beautiful surrounding with a river right next to the cottage. very well equipped with everything you may need! we had a very pleasant stay and only 20 minute drive to Aberystwyth seafront. Thank you so much to our hosts, we've had a fantastic stay!!

Just returned from Karl’s wonderful cottage, we have had such a lovely time, Karl is a very friendly and helpful host and has two adorable dogs. The cottage is perfect and has all you need for a great holiday, comfortable sofa’s & beds and very clean and tidy. The area is spectacular, far too much to see and do in one holiday so we will definitely be returning. Thanks again Karl 😁

We had a lovely peaceful few days. The cottage was clean and comfortable and the enclosed garden is perfect (we did keep one dog on a lead as he is tall and we didn’t trust he wouldn’t try to jump as there were sheep in the neighbouring field). We were left some milk and Welsh cakes which was a lovely touch. The setting is perfect and whilst a lot of the walking trails in the forest are shut due to storm damage, the car parks are open and we still did some lovely hikes on the fire roads. The pub in Brechfa was fantastic - dog friendly, nice staff and delicious food. We would love to return :)

A huge 'diolch' to you Emma and Andrew for all you've done to make the Lock House such a great temporary home from home. We had an amazing 3-night stay full of walks, catching up with family, lovely meals and exploring the area. Bendigedig!

We really enjoyed staying here! The cottage is lovely, and the surroundings are beautiful and peaceful. The hosts were really attentive and friendly, and we were grateful for the very warm welcome. The cottage was immaculately clean, warm and comfortable. Highly recommended!

We had a really lovely stay at the slate miners cottage. Jenny is a great host - available and easy to contact but also unobtrusive. The cottage has everything we needed for a long weekend it’s easy to find and an excellent location. We had fab days out at Tywyn beach, Barmouth and the Dolgoch falls. And a great dinner at the railway inn just a couple of minutes away.

Gosh, what a beautiful place Aberdar is! Whilst it’s off the beaten track it offers the most superb views across the hills, and the garden and orchard areas are so peaceful to wile away the hours. The cottage was perfect too, everything you need for a relaxing break. The dogs had a brilliant time making our holiday even easier! Loved every second ❤️

Perfect little cottage for our short notice stay. Lovely garden space and very quiet which is what we were looking for. Short walk to a lovely pub/restaurant and a shop with all you need. Great base for trips into Newquay and Aberaeron .

Very comfortable, well equipped and tastefully furnished home. Location is very beautiful, but we ended up doing quite a bit of driving to get essentials and even access local walks.

We didn't realise the cottage was in a caravan park when we booked it, but it was perfect. Very well restored and easy to access all of our needs. Our winter booking was peaceful and thoroughly enjoyable. Mind you I was extremely surprised at how much of a tourist hub Rhos on Sea will be in the summer. We'd avoid the crowds then and return in Winter.

What a stunning and peaceful location. John was so lovely and made us feel very welcome. He was so generous to show my 8 year old all the animals and the tractor. He was a big fan. Contact was easy and we were provided some fresh eggs on arrival. I’m confident we will stay again.

Jacqueline is an amazing host with an unbelievable property. For the money spent you get so much more. Accommodation felt like home with everything you could need and more at hand. Located in a beautiful setting close to everywhere and nowhere. The perfect getaway for anyone!! Can't recommend enough

If you are looking for a remote place to reset from the world this is the place ! The most stunningly beautiful place surrounded by sheep and hills , we spent hours sat in the sunny conservatory watching the birds eatting - it’s blissful 🫶. The cottage has everything you need to have a wonderful cosy stay and Jon is a super helpful host - it was a Little slice of heaven at Little pudding cottage and we will most definitely be back to enjoy it again in the future . If there is a clear night you can literally see every single star in the sky it’s breathtaking . We walked a lot with the dogs over the fields , if you go off piste there is a fair amount of boggy areas and we found lots of ticks on the dogs when we came back so just be aware that April onwards is tick season so double check your furry friends to make sure they stay happy too ☺️ Thanks Jon for letting us enjoy your beautiful cottage- we have truly loved every second of it ❤️

Good facilities, peaceful, good ambience, warm and cozy. It was a bit hard to find the turnoff when we arrived in last light - it did help to read the detailed location information that our hosts had sent, and to put the actual street address they sent us into Google.

We had a really great stay. The house was well equipped and super cosy. The beds were comfortable and we enjoyed the lovely big bath. The location is absolutely fab, being less than 5 mins walk to two lovely pubs. A highlight was the bbq hut which we had so much fun cooking in and also using the fire pit and spending the evening under the stars. I am sure we will be back.

An amazing place the night skys were awesome and in the morning i was outside with a cup of tea watching red kites a weasel and wood peckers . We booked it as base for sorting things for a family member but would love to come back for a proper rest .
