Lakefront cabin located at the site of historic Captain's Cove Boat Tours. The interior has been newly renovated to include modern fixtures and finishes to an open floor plan that maximizes the breathtaking views of Lake Superior. For epic panoramas of the lake head out to the yard for a hot cocoa by the bonfire, or a glass of wine at the charming deck on the bluff's edge. The cabin is located next to the Kadunce River and directly across the highway from the shores of Lake Superior where the beach is a nice mix of sand and small pebbles. Perfect for your own private agate hunting, stargazing, catching a sunrise, or jumping in for an invigorating swim after your sauna. Nestled in mature spruce, this cozy timber and log cabin with wrap-around windows is surrounded by towering pines and a beautiful forest floor – keep an eye out for the deer as they stroll by.

This cabin was built for family gatherings and a recreational retreat and has been in the family for years. We offer a place to sleep 4 with a pull-out couch, full kitchen, bar area, dining table and a small bathroom with a shower and sink. We also have an outside hydrant to rinse off your equipment or clean your fish and game. Be on the lookout for Moose, Deer, Bear, Fox, Grouse, and many of birds and listen for an occasional Timber Wolf in the night. Trailer parking is onsite.
