I enjoyed my time at this cottage and found that it had almost everything that I needed for a month's stay. France was a responsive host, particularly to my request for assistance with plowing the driveway. I did let it pile up, which was my mistake because someone had plowed when I first arrived and I assumed this was a local, routine service. France came with her two boys and addressed it the same day to help remove it, which was helpful. My dog loved the backyard so much, that she protested our departure on the last day by refusing to get in the car... that was a first... great place to bring dogs!

This home is absolutely beautiful. The scenery and location is breathtaking. I would definitely stay here again, and highly recommend this home for anyone to stay.

Our accommodations were perfect! We fished from the dock, used the hot tub, sat around the table for breakfast with everything that was supplied which was perfect. The view was great from the balcony and the yard with the flowers was so beautiful. We all enjoyed our stay. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for accommodations in Haileybury!

excellent spot perfect to snowmobile from

It was definitely a pleasant & clean. We didn’t stay in the cottage alot during the day, as our main focus was to snowmobile. As we had friends close by. The cottage was bit warm for us, couldn’t adjust temperature. That’s not a big deal. We left early morning, we would love to come back again. Your communication was fast. Thank you!

This is the 5th year we have rented Stefano's cottage. I am hard-pressed to find anything negative to say. The cottage is spectacularly beautiful, inside and out. The architecture is decidedly modern, but clearly fits in the surroundings of trees and the lake. Inside it is very cozy with neutral colours and great for either relaxing with a book and a coffee (or a bottle of wine!), a games night or an outdoor BBQ after a swim, a paddle or a hike. It is superbly quiet and a perfect place to get away from it all, yet keep the creature comforts, grocer a short drive; walking trails nearby, lakes are everywhere and the autumn leaves are nothing short of spectacular. Stefano is very accommodating in terms of providing information or answering questions, if any. We love the place so much I am hesitating to give it such a good review for fear of lots of people discovering it - I want to keep it my own hidden gem. But Stefano deserves an excellent review. Thank you Stefano, as always.

We loved our stay! The home was spotless when we arrived and set up with all the amenities needed to have a perfect getaway. The beds were comfortable, lots of cozy blankets to snuggle, and a beautiful steam shower! The cottage is super cozy and it easily felt like home. We enjoyed the sunroom for reading and game nights as well as used the kayaks to go explore the lake and the falls. We sat on the dock with our morning coffees and listened to the falls watching the sunrise. The area is so quiet and peaceful allowing us to really disconnect as a family and enjoy our time together. Thank you for sharing your home with us! We would love to come back and would highly recommend this stay to all our friends and family.

What a great place to just relax and unwind. It was so quiet and peaceful, just what we needed. Kim and Ken are amazing hosts. They have all the details laid out for their guests in a very organized book. There are so many things included in your stay making it lighter for us to pack. They welcome pets which is a huge plus. They were there for checkin to make sure we knew how to operate everything and available for any questions. Great fishing even in August. I would highly recommend this remote, private property.
