Coolamondah Country Cottage

Relax at our peaceful cottage set in a mango/ fruit orchard overlooking our large dam and cattle/ sheep grazing pastures on our 111-acre property. Enjoy bush walks through native forest, gullies, and ridges, or fish, kayak, and swim in the dam. Guests can watch or help with afternoon animal feeding. The self-catering cottage includes a kitchen, Weber BBQ, microwave, and cooktop, with complimentary tea, coffee, and milk. Shops are 30 minutes away in Biggenden or Maryborough, so bring supplies.

Relax at this peaceful place to stay. Views across the Great Sandy Strait to K’gari (Fraser Island). Total getaway with stunning white Sandy beaches and clear water. Take long walks at low tide across the Sandy expanses, and swim in calm waters or go kayaking during high tide. The fishing is excellent with a boat ramp near the shady park, picnic and BBQ area. No shops in town, 30min to Tin Can Bay where you can feed the dolphins and enjoy the cafes. A little piece of paradise. BYO sheets.

Join Sally for an early morning bird watch or bird count from the main house verandah, wander the back paddocks, and take in the glorious sunsets. We’re just 8 km from the heritage city of Maryborough, 35 minutes from Hervey Bay, and about an hour and a half from Rainbow Beach. Or simply sit back, relax, and enjoy the peace and quiet (except for some noisy birds).

Absolute waterfront. This stylish home stay is perfect for group trips or the family holiday. Main bedroom has a King Bed, the second has a Queen Bed & the 3rd and 4th bedrooms have Double beds. There is also 3 x single mattresses or additional beds. full laundry including washer and dryer. Even a fish cleaning sink and BBQ to savor your catch of the day. Lovely little fishing village away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Perfect for that family holiday.

Mary River farm cottage

The Cottage has one bedroom with a queen bed, a sofa bed, a bathroom and a small kitchen, with a gas BBQ on verandah. Its suitable for a small family. It has Air-con. The farm has a herd of cows and some cultivated fields. There is a kilometer of Mary River frontage with bird, rare lungfish, frogs and platypus. There are large areas of scenic bush walking. Our place is dog friendly, but prefer the dog to stay outside in the secure enclosure on verandah.

It is located in a quiet street, close to all that Maryborough has to offer, and less than 30 minutes from Hervey Bay, the gateway to Fraser Island and whale watching. NBN ready. The cabin shares a driveway with Churchill Cottage.
