Located on Michigan’s Keweenaw Peninsula, This cottage is only 400 feet from the mouth of the Tobacco River and located on 230' of Lake Superior lakeshore. Approximately 15 miles from Lake Linden and Calumet. The nearest village is Gay. The views, breezes and waves are simply fantastic. Home is located on the Gay/Lac LaBelle Road with easy access year round (available for rent all seasons). Peak periods are Memorial Day to Labor Day, and early-September to mid-October and Christmas to early March (snowmobile/Ski season). This property has a spectacular view of the Lake from all the main living areas and bedrooms. The multi-level deck allows you to enjoy the summer breezes or the fall colors with family and friends. Lower level features a laundry area, along with bunkroom , Pool Table and Sauna. Upper level features beautiful red maple and cherry hardwood vaulted ceiling and open design from kitchen, dining and living room for great views of the lake and easy conversation. Master bedroom features a King bed and 180 degree view of the lake. Bathroom is a full bath including bathtub and shower. Property is slightly elevated from the lake enhancing the lake view. It could be a challenge for some to get down to the water. The Tobacco River is about 400 feet away. Old restored pier 500 feet the other way brings back memories of old copper mining days gone by. If you revel in ATV, UTV or snowmobiling riding this place is a perfect launching point for exploring the Keweenaw. We are positioned across the street is from a major trail head. There is plenty of room for parking trailers and toy haulers. Trail 133 comes to the road for easy ride in and out access.

Freshwater House on Lake Superior - Bohemia close

Our house sits right on Lake Superior, atop a lava rock cliff, on the "Gold Coast" of Eagle Harbor. Mt. Bohemia & Copper Harbor 20 minute drives away, sand beach & restaurant 5 minute walk. The living room & kitchen have a breathtaking view of the lake that includes the harbor. There are two full-sized bedrooms, one with king bed & one with queen, each of which have lots of closet space. There is also a smaller room with bunk bed. Central heat. Good wifi. Superior View House

The Superior View House is your quiet escape to the North Shore. Located just 1 mile from access to Lake Superior, 1/2 mile from the Superior Hiking Trail and 10 minutes from Grand Marais this entire home is an excellent place to set up for a long weekend exploring the Northwoods. The cozy fireplace and large airy living room make for comfortable ways to spend the evenings or days when the whether isn't cooperating, otherwise the three outdoor decks and wood fired sauna are the places to be.

On the waterfront with everything!

Beautiful home with 4 bedrooms on the waterfront. This is the best you will find. All the amenities - fast wi-fi, 3 TVs (satellite), full size kitchen, washer/dryer, and plenty of parking near the snowmobile trail. Mont Ripley is right nearby for skiers. Two full bathrooms and two half bathrooms. New grill added on 6/19/2020. The home is being updated as needed. From new oven mitts to anything else needing an upgrade. Check out the pictures. This is not your average rental home.

This 4 bedroom 2 bath home is located next to chutes and ladders located on portage canal next to Houghton beach, Chutes & Ladders, and Houghton public docks. Home is a short walk to Michigan Tech and historic downtown. There are two kayaks and 2 bikes available for you to use and explore the canal or downtown. Stylish Home in the Harbor 2 Bedroom

I could go on and on and on about this experience but I only have 1000 characters! Let me start with the place - the cottage was modern, charming, warm and in a great location. Everything in it was top notch - linens, bedding and especially the kitchen contents. Copper Harbor is a special place. If you hike, mountain bike or paddle you will be in heaven. Everything in The town is walkable. Just so charming! Jenny was an exceptional host. The care and consideration she gave us was over the top - in the best way! She was so excited to give us hiking, kayaking, shopping and eating recommendations. And I understand why - everything we did based on her suggestions was amazing! This was truly a memorable experience and we will definitely be checking in with Jenny again!

The Sandstone House- Modern 3 BR & Family friendly

Ashley was very responsive and courteous. She left detailed instructions for checkout and what was available in the house. The house was on the older side, but it was updated, clean and had all the amenities one could want for a weekend away. There was a variety of basic spices and even baggies if you needed them. She thought of everything. We had plenty of space for everyone!

Exceptional! We were so comfortable in every way. Donna and her husband were extremely kind and responsive throughout our stay. The house had a well stocked kitchen, everything was in great working order and seemed brand new. The place was so clean! We never had problems with enough hot water for the four of us. Beds were quite comfortable, got better sleep here than I’ve had in a while. We love spending time in the UP and look forward to many more stays at this location. Thanks for a terrific stay!!

Vita, has a Class A place!!! we enjoyed all the little things she did to make us comfortable without being obvious... Handwritten letter, beer, soda, ice in the refrig, great coffee, great breakfast snacks and kitchen you would swear was your own with all of the amenities. Plus theater in the basement, Great outside accommodations, didn't get to use the grill but wanted to. Let's just just say that this home is the Pinnacle of Houghton! My highest recommendation! Bravo!!!!

Charming Waterfront Lake House

This was first time using an Air BnB, and was quite impressed. Our stay went exactly how we planned it. The owner had good communication throughout the process. The driveway was even cleared of snow that day, which says a lot. The lake house was clean, well kept, and obvious that the owner put a lot of time and money into the home. (I am a residential contractor and know good work when I see it). I will almost indefinitely use this place again. Clean, well kept, and had every amenity that one could ask for in the Upper Peninsula, MIchigan. Highly recommended for future guests.

A Hop, Skip, and a Jump to the Bridge!

This was the first air bnb that I've booked on my own. Melanie was great! She was flexible with our check-in which was delayed due to the weather and the bridge being closed. The house was the perfect home away from home. The nook with the view was such a dream! I could stare out that window forever. The check-in and check-out instructions were very clear. This was the perfect spot to relax. Such a wonderful getaway. Thank you again Melanie!

Alexandra was a great host and we absolutely loved the home. We had three children under three with us and we didn't know how perfect the home would be for kids! There is a swing in the basement and wonderful children's books. We were so pleased. On top of that, the home is beautiful and SO close to Michigan Tech and the Tech Trails. We had a blast and would stay there again!

In town for the Great Bear Chase and stayed here for the second straight year. Everything worked out as expected. Close to town, well equipped kitchen, plenty of sleeping spaces. Nice to have sauna access. Host is easy to reach and responsive. House rules and amenities are easy to find. Would definitely stay again.

This was a great find! We loved the location as it was practically on the Swedetown trails and centrally located for visiting Bohemia, Houghton and Calumet. The house was very comfortable—everything from the beds and bedding to the living room furniture made us feel right at home. We especially appreciated the baby supplies! The house felt spacious and cozy and we the neighborhood was quiet. Our hosts responded right away and were welcoming and professional. We would love to come visit again!

Treehouse Retreat with Sauna Near Lutsen Ski

Perfect location and accommodations for our family get together. In our group there were both cross country and down hill skiers, and this location was very close to Lutsen Mountain and Sugarbush cross country trails. Plenty of room to spread out. Loved the top level with the views and ample space for the family to gather.
