Glamping in the woods - Forest Retreat Winter Edit

This was our second stay at Willona's glamping tent retreat, and our first foray winter glamping. The site is very private and a 3 min walk up on a hill overlooking a marsh lake. There was a sleigh and a wagon to use, and with these we only made one trip. It was lovely being greeted by the big white dog Zoe. The site is very well planned out with ample sensor lights to light the way at night, a fireplace outside and Willona had a fire lit inside for a nice cozy welcome! The site is treed but clear cut well for safety and great views! Everything inside the tent was great, lots of seating, cozy warm bedding, ample firewood and extra supplies for use. It was about -4 the night we stayed and the woodstove kept the tent warm, does need stoking once or twice in the night. We enjoyed a quiet night together in nature, lots of games to choose from. Winter experience might not be for everyone, but this is super ideal for all in every other season. We would absolutely stay again!

"Lot 105" Charleston Lake

It fit my purposes perfectly as I was just spending the night before fishing on Charleston Lake the next day, 2 minutes from the boat launch. It’s in a really beautiful spot and is very cosy. The bed was very comfortable and the heater made quick work of the morning chill. The fire pit area is excellent. The unit itself is a strange mix of modern and not. There is no running or hot water, you have to pump water with a handle from large bottles under the sink. The toilet definitely takes some getting used to. Would stay again if I’m in the area.

An amazing place to unwind next to the lake and listen to the Loons in the evening. Erika went out of her way to accommodate our very last minute reservation and was extremely friendly and helpful throughout the process. I would highly recommend this place to anyone.

Luxury Dome | Hot Tub | Lake Access | Forest Views

The dome was exactly as described. Peaceful, private, cozy, comfortable, clean and amazing. Jason met us when we parked our car and helped us get our stuff in the dome and explained everything perfectly. He knows what he is doing and loves hosting people. For a place so far from the city, it has all the amenities you would need to have a feel more comfortable than a hotel room with the peacefullness of the forest. Jason even took us to explore the frozen lake which was a surreal experience and even got us a bottle of wine as me and the wife were celebrating our anniversary. We are already looking forward to our next visit.

The Cozy Bear! Quiet Brantingham Cabin.

The house was beautiful and in the perfect location for us to ride our snowmobiles. Plenty of room in the driveway for our truck and trailer, easy to find- next to the Pine Tree which was very convenient- and so peaceful and quiet. The host was responsive and we didn’t have any issues. Definitely would stay again!

Lily Pad Point

We loved our stay at Lily Pad Point! Everything was as in the pictures and extremely cozy. We loved having a canoe and a couple of kayaks available to explore the lake. The hot tub was the cherry on top. Kourtney was super responsive and friendly. 100% recommended, we will definitely come back! 😊

Great cottage - our family of 6 + our dog had a lovely stay. It’s a peaceful spot in the woods on a lake. We loved the hot tub, and beautiful views of lake in the snow. Host was responsive and snow cleared in time for our departure. Our kids enjoyed sledding on the hill down to the lake. The house had everything we needed, lots of towels, bedding and blankets. We had a great stay and would visit again.

Superb modern cottage in PEC (Sandbanks)

Nous avons eu un beau séjour mode deux adultes et quatre enfants (il faut aimer être proche 😅❤️). L’accès à la plage se fait très bien. La distance vers la piscine est gérable à pied, y compris de façon autonome pour des enfants. L’endroit est sécuritaire et propre. La région est magnifique!
