Legendary coffeehouse in Westport. Their landlord allowed a Starbucks to move in next door back in the 90s, which inspired Broadway to begin roasting their own beans, and a few years later, that Starbucks was the first in the country to surrender and close! Broadway Cafe still has one of the best shots in the city, in a city with more and more great coffee. My go to: iced soy honey latte. Okay!

This is one of my favorite coffee shops. Great coffee, cake, pastries, and sandwiches. On a nice day, you can go to the tiny patio in the back or sit in the row of chairs out front and meet new people.

The service at this popular coffee spot can be slow, but the people-watching is worth it if you like that sort of thing. 15-20 minute walk.

Pretty much my favorite coffee house. Been going there since high school and it has such a devoted local fanbase that the Starbucks that moved in next door tucked tail and moved out! That was a happy day. Go and get their mocha and watch the world walk by. You won't be disappointed!
