In the 1770s Catherine the Great requested to build a new palace. Catherine visited the palace only once. Napoleon briefly took shelter at the palace to escape the 1812 Fire of Moscow.

The traveling palace was built by the order of Empress Catherine the second. The end of the 18th century. Very nice building and park nearby.
