About a 45 minute drive. Easy for parking and no narrow lanes to access. Recommend you head to left side of the beach towards Downderry for a peaceful spot and best for rock pooling at low tide. Spacious sandy beach, perfect for sand castles, some beautiful pink flat pebbles at the top of the shoreline. RNLI lifeguards are present at this beach and the waters have calm currents.

20min drive. This lovely family beach with large cafe, shop, parking and toilets is in a quieter part of Cornwall to the east of Looe. It has everything you need for a memorable day out with a large beach of sand and small pebbles located at the entrance to the Seaton Valley Country Park valley walk, home to wildlife such as otters, kingfishers, dormice and fritillary butterflies.
