A Susan Spicer restaurant. She is famous around New Orleans and has written several cook books. You won't be disappointed.

A Susan Spicer restaurant. A little bit of a trek from downtown but well worth it _ and really it's not that much of a trek.

Out near the lake, Susan Spicer's Mondo has a menu can change daily, depending on what she can get fresh ( and local) at the moment. Lunch/dinner are served, very creative interpretations from her ceviche, to her fried halloumi with roast vegetables to her Slow Roasted Pork Shoulder with Black Beans, Plantains and Tomatillo Salsa, and that is just one of many suggestions that cross the globe in style and flavor. Kids meals also available as are the Wood Fired Pizzas

One of my favorite places to happy hour with a Pinot Noir. The food is incredible as well.
