The refuge is a 7,604 acre federal wildlife refuge home to migratory birds and seals. You can sign up for a tour or roam yourself. Nearby, check out the Chatham Lighthouse or walk along the Morris Island trail.
To explore Monomoy Wildlife Refuge, head to the visitor center on Morris Island. From there, you can take a boat ride to the offshore sections of Monomoy. On Monomoy’s Wilderness Islands, you can explore long stretches of beach, sand dunes, salt marshes and freshwater ponds. The scenery is very Cape Cod and the wildlife is amazing!
A lovely drive through some of Chatham's beautiful residential neighborhoods and Stage Harbor leads to this hidden gem. Breathtaking views, a quiet beach, trails, information center and restrooms. One of our favorite places to visit on the Cape.
Beautiful view, you can breathe the fresh and cold air from the Atlantic ocean. it has two small trails nearby. great to spend a non-hot day.
