It has a permanent eclectic collection of objects from around the world and across historical periods. It hosts contemporary Irish art exhibitions, chamber music and lunchtime lectures. There is a lovely gift shop with predominantly Irish objects. The downstairs cafe is very good value and delicious with outdoor seating for sunny days.
