Over the past several months I've been doing a comparison of Fresh Market and the Publix that's right next door. Fresh Market is hands down a more pleasant experience. The store is much more aesthetically pleasing, the check out lines are generally shorter, and there are way fewer people in the store. Fresh Market also carries a lot of brands and food items I like that I can't find at Publix. However, Publix does have a larger selection overall. But, the biggest question I wanted to answer was price. Who has the better prices? The answer is that it depends. When it comes to produce, both stores are pretty much neck and neck. Sometimes I find better deals at Publix, and sometimes at Fresh
