Amazing fresh baked breads. Unusual but tasty pastries. Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner are all very good. And for dining out in SF, not that expensive. They probably wouldn't deal well with more than 6 people in a group but you could ask. If you get one night away with Jose, then this place or Cassava would be the place to go. Marla is a great example of San Francisco gourmet food done with house made cheese, house made charcuterie and local produce.

I stopped by here recently with friends on a long walk out to Ocean beach and back through the park. It was the perfect stop for a warm cup and sweet treat.
