Drive up to the top of a 14,000 foot mountain. Pack your coat as it is always chilly up there. The view is amazing. There is an information center at the top.

The view is incredible. I recommend renting a four wheel drive vehicle and driving through Pikes Peak instead of riding the Cog railway. This way you get to stop and see what you want on your own.
