Lafitte's is one of the oldest structures in New Orleans. It's a popular drinking hole for both tourists and locals. It's known for its "purple drank" which is a very strong grape juice flavored slushy cocktail called the Voodoo Daiquiri. Beware of the purple drank.

This is the home of the world famous Voodoo Blend daiquiri or as us locals call it, "The Purple Drink." Built in 1722, this old world structure is the oldest continuously operated bar in the United States.
