Describing Fort Worden is like the parable of the elephant and the blind men - it's something different for everyone. One of Port Townsend's best beaches. An art and music center. Historical museum. And good hiking up along the coastal bluffs amid the historic artillery fort built to protect the entrance to the Puget Sound. The old bunkers make a great day of exploring and the bluff views are exquisite.

You can explore the underground bunkers and all the places that An Officer and a Gentleman was filmed. This is a great place to take the whole family with lots of history.
