If you are visiting Coyoacan Center area, this place is an excellent options for Mexican traditional food and to try their very good curated selection of mezcal. If you feel adventurous, you can even try the pulque, which is a traditional pre-hispanic drink made from the fermented sap of the maguey (agave).

Lovely restaurant with outdoor sitting in Coyoacan main park. The food is great here, mainly from Oaxaca. The escamoles (ant eggs) are really nice, and there's a corn pie glazed with cajeta (burned milk) and mezcal, totally worth it.

If you like Oaxaca's flavors and of course, mezcal, this is a very nice place to hang out, excellent traditional-gourmet menu. A beautiful restaurant in one of the main plazas of Centro de Coyacán.
