Great Korean food and stores, plus an interesting old-school neighborhood of the kind that is disappearing.

“The streets of New York City’s Chinatown are teeming with bakeries, restaurants, boutiques, snack shops, herbal pharmacies, temples, and bars and nightclubs, which retain Shanghai flair, making visitors feel as if they have just stepped foot in a foreign land across the globe. For history enthusiasts, the gorgeous galleries, informative museums, and landmarks within the community capture the Chinese-American experience and tell the story of the immigrants’ history, growth, and successes within our nation.”

“Chelsea is a neighborhood on the West Side of the borough of Manhattan in New York City. Chelsea is a safe and affluent residential community but with treats tempting tourists along every block. Located West of Broadway to the Hudson River from 34th to 14th street, Chelsea surrounds the Meatpacking district, Hudson Yards, and the Flatiron District. See if you can find the Vessell. Or check out the various Art Spaces located on the infamous Chelsea Art Walk.”
