It’s one of the few flat routes in San Francisco, which makes it very accommodating to runners. There’s a nice wide path and lots of water fountains. Fisherman’s Wharf to AT&T Park clocks in at three miles one way. On Saturday mornings, I change my route so that I end at the Ferry Building farmers’ market.

Home to the Ferry Building (at the end of many MUNI subway lines from the Castro) and a great bike/walking/running walkway that runs all the way along the Bay from Fisherman's Wharf to Oracle Park.

Walk along the city's eastern shoreline and pay a visit to the iconic and bustling Ferry Building.

Take time to walk through the Ferry Building. You might leave there with your pockets a little empty but your belly will be full! Great place to get gifts to take home to your family and friends.

Strolling the length of the Embarcadero is a lovely way to spend a few hours. The Embarcadero spans along the Bay water from Pier 39 all the way to the SF Giants Stadium. There many sculptures to admire and shops/restaurants along the way.

Great view of the bay and ferry, Spectacular lighting show at the bay bridge in the evening. Fun street to walk along the water front.
