Ok, it is a little unusual to recommend a community center in a tourist town but I have to brag, we have a great one. In the summer there is a large outdoor pool with slides and diving board to enjoy. There is also an indoor pool, racket ball courts, basketball courts, bowling, group classes, and a gym. There is a daily fee that allows you to enjoy everything, the bowling is extra but very reasonable. My family uses the community center almost every day. It is also start of the Riverwalk that follows the river through town and ends at The Old Mill. Plenty of parking to access the walk for biking, fishing, and enjoying the river.

For a raining day, If you want to use the gym equipment, indoor tracks, join group excises, use indoor heated Olympic size swimming pool year-round. A minimum daily access fee can be purchased at the front desk with an ID.
