Built in 1879 is still an active aid to navigation today. Located in Fort Worden State Park near Port Townsend. You can actually stay at the lighthouse. The historic Chief's house is available as a vacation rental.

Picnic benches there are a great place for a picnic, the views are stunning, lots of shipping activity, and walking on the beach. Read about Admiralty Inlet from the Strait of Juan de Fuca and this lighthouse.

Point Wilson marks the western side of the entrance to Admiralty Inlet from the Strait of Juan de Fuca and is an important landmark for vessels traveling to and from Puget Sound.
