This is my favourite place in Torquay. It’s a long beautiful beach with shingles, and stunning views across the bay. Walk to the west side of the beach to find the cafe and enjoy a coffee or some food and take in the wonderful views.

Locals favourite beach. Good for kayaking. In walking distance from flat. Has a cafe restaurant with Music night in the summer. Dogs allowed from September to April.

Another beautiful beach around the bay from Babbacombe which can be accessed either by walking the southwest coast path; or by car through wellswood. It is best, if there is space, to park for free alongside meadfoot green. This is another beach with a cafe for refreshments.

totally dog friendly between Oct - 1st May and all year round at the far end from the café, scuba diving, toilets.
